This past week I ve used Currency Club

This past week I ve used Currency Club for the first time to order travel money after seeing them listed on Money Saving Expert website I have found their service to be very efficient from ordering through to delivery Although I did need to enter my address manually when registering as the find address function came up with completely different incorrect addresses for my correct postcode The only downside which means I can t give five stars was the quality of a few of the bills with some ripped or damaged in other ways Quality controls could be improved at this stage The more you order the better the exchange rate and there are no additional transaction fees I had previously successfully used TravelFX but when I compared the rates for my first transaction with Currency Club on this occasion Currency Club was almost 1 better

Easy process with the best rate and lowest fees I could find Several postage options depending on urgency Small negative was that I asked for mixed denominations of notes but received the largest denominations possible to make up my order They do say that requests for denominations can t always be fulfilled Delivery on time as arranged Just a small point otherwise excellent and would use again if the rate was competitive

Good other than the denominations sent

Very easy to order money and quick delivery My only complaint and the reason for 4 stars is that I specifically asked for small denominations but received a bundle of notes that were all the second largest denomination Don t offer the option if you can t provide the service

Delivery failed

Used these several times no issues excellent service The only reason there s not 5 see star was the royal mails failure to deliver to the correct address luckily they were in and pointed out the blatant mistake

Special deliveey

Well I was able to get a very good rate but they use Royal Mail for special delivery which is probably a decision that needs revisiting It is fortunate that the money arrived 1 hour before I left So my advice is to order well in advance I have to say that communication with the company was very good whilst I was waiting for delivery However perhaps another courier would be better

The on-line process to purchase foreign cash is simple Select the currency specify the required amount provide your details and pay the money Emails received to acknowledge the order to confirm money received and to confirm delivery The money arrived via Royal Mail as expected

Used because they had the best rate for Brazilian Real Website easy to use and next day delivery Saturday rate was reasonable Would certainly consider using again

Currency club review

Although there was an unexpected delay of 24 hrs in the delivery this was not the fault of currency club our postman was apologetic and told us how snowed under they where other than that I e thing the rest of the service was good and pretty quick responses to my emailsI would use the currency club again

Very good exchange rate Easy instructions to follow in sending money Took a little longer for BACS transaction to enter my bank account but this was due to bank holiday Would definitely use this service again

Good service that was easy to use Rates were best on the day and I liked the option to choose the size of notes and delivery date Charges were clear Currency arrived early although I didn t quite get the note sizes I requested for 2 different currencies but that is just a small negative
