The service to begin with was good

The service to begin with was good but as time went on it got worse We were not receiving email conformations of dates when we did get them they were wrong The turned up a day early to pack everything up The move itself went perfectly A couple of weeks later while still unpacking we found a picture damaged due to incorrectly packing When I contacted there office I was asked to send pictures of damage this I did They finally contacted me nearley two weeks later and said it was outside of the 7 days to report damage so tough I WOULD NOT RECOMEND this removal company David Parkinson Lincoln

This is cheater company they took money

This is cheater company they took money from my account more then triple amount they send on invoice This is not good company be aware of them

Warning We got carried away by the price but did not read t c s properly The team were efficient and friendly Forgot a few things scratched a few newly painted walls and broke some plants and pots Not the end of the world BUT they destroyed two very expensive pieces of artwork and refused to give us any compensation Don t select this company because of the low price it may cost you ten times more

Waste of my time

I can t judge what this company s removal service is like but their customer care is terrible I wanted to book them to move my belongings to the south of France and was told that they would send someone to do a survey so they could give me a quote That appointment was then cancelled and I was informed that he would now be coming over a week later I stayed in all morning on this day waiting for him but no-one turned up I waited a couple of days for an explanation or maybe to re-schedule another visit and as I hadn t heard from them I emailed them I still haven t had a reply or apology for wasting my time

They break your stuff and won t pay

The removal and packing service itself was fine However a number of items were broken and damaged during the move I have since found further broken items but after the 7 day window to claim had closed While this is clearly a risk of moving its frustrating that I have been forced to chase both the removals company and their insurers for over 3 months and have only just received a response And in that response they falsely state that I packed the items myself Making it my word against theirs So these are the guys for you if you don t mind them breaking your stuff you don t mind spending your time chasing up emails you don t mind having them claim its your fault anyway and then offering you a derisory settlement Adding a response to their reply I ve also amended my rating accordingly 1 I don t contradict myself I deliberately used the word fine rather than good or excellent which I would have used instead had nothing been broken Accidents happen so fine seemed appropriate 2 Obviously I wouldn t blame you if I broke something after 7 days What happened was I was unable to unpack everything within the 7 day period and only discovered 2 further breakages after this had elapsed I accept it sits outside the claim window but it seemed relevant to my description of your service 3 On many occasions I chased the insurance company they told me they were waiting for more information from you Regardless of where the delay sat its your choice of insurer and part of the service you deliver 4 I accept I didn t pay for the extra insurance and therefore any item is capped at 50 While the offer for one of the items at 32 is fair you are refusing to pay 50 towards the other item as you falsely claim I packed it

Surveyed then never heard another word

We ordered some boxes from The Moving Box very good service who seem to be part of the London Removal Company They suggested we contacted the LRC for a quote for removals which we did They surveyed the house agreed to send the quote the same day and to contact the Moving Box on our behalf Never heard another word

Caused 3000 damage and refused to pay

I had an unfortunate experience when they transported my new kitchen It included a marble worktop which they assured me they would take good care of It broke during transit and despite accepting responsibility they refused to pay the 3000 damage they caused Accidents do happen but it s how they are dealt with that matters This company has a very unprofessional attitude saying that its my fault for not paying for the right insurance I would not advise using this company

Forgot me then hung up on me twice

They booked me for a move date 3 weeks in advance of move then have a person come out to look at how much furniture i have to move for an estimate one day later I then never receive the estimate so I call them 1 5 weeks in advance only for them to tell me they can t move me at all THANKS FOR LETTING ME KNOW Now I have lost 1 5 weeks of time to find a company hat can move me The man also did not understand or care how much this completely inconvenienced me and hung the phone up on me twice This company is not only incompetent but also don t care if they lose customers which they now have

Very bad company to work for over charges it s customers and doesn t look after it s staff management is a joke fake address dodgy company no wage slips in 6 months make up your own mind

Do not use this company

Do not use this company Yes there are some good reviews but be warned by the bad ones If anything goes wrong it will be your mistake and they will not admit any liability or risk They have lost an item of mine which they say must have been left behind - oh yes nobody would have noticed one item in the middle of a garage would they or they delivered it but I am unable to find it because of the mess in my garage - how dare they Their so called inventory includes items that we do not and have never owned a lawn mower and items that we personally took with us They say that it all must have been a confusion with the notes that were taken during the quotation process That is re-assuring as to their records and goods management and control They refuse to provide a copy of the inventory to show all the items they believe that they did deliver Remember if anything goes wrong it will be your fault Barry MacDonald is a very difficult man to deal with and he is always right Having had nearly 15 000 of my money he refuses to pay out 120 on an item he has lost
