Abysmal customer service and missed shipments
3 7 2023 I contacted customer service about being charged for a package and not receiving updates Here is the response Shantele The Menlo Club Mar 7 2023 4 11 PM PSTHey Michael We had a delay getting our February inventory in we appreciate your patience I see your February package is currently being processed and should ship out in the next few days Best ShanteleThe Menlo ClubSkip ahead to 3 21 2023 at this point I have yet to receive my February package and have been charged again for a March shipment I contacted customer service again and received the same response from Shantale you can see a portion of the transcript below I am at my wits end being charged 60 for march while I have yet to receive February is absolutely unacceptable This needs to be fixed asap 11 37 00 PM Shantele joined the chat 11 38 03 PM Shantele Hey Michael 11 38 10 PM Shantele What is the email address and billing zip code on file with your account 11 38 25 PM Michael email redacted 11 38 27 PM Michael redacted 11 41 22 PM Shantele We had a delay getting our February inventory which held up the packages I see your February packge is in the shipping area and should ship out in the next couple of days 11 41 51 PM Michael Thats the same thing they told me last time This is a joke right As you can see the response is word for word copy and pasted How is it that both 3 7 2023 and 3 21 2023 my package is in the shipping area and will be sent in a few days While trying to understand the copy paste responses the chat agent without my approval or recommendation refunded my charge for the month or March only You have to go out of your way for this poor customer service Stay far away

Paid 45 days ago but received nothing
After moving to a new home I recently rejoined Menlo Club where I had been a member for over two years before canceling my membership around August 2022 During my previous membership I had no issues receiving packages within 7 to 10 business days and the clothing was consistently of good quality However since rejoining Menlo Club I have paid for two separate shipments of clothing one on April 15 2023 and another on May 15 2023 As of today May 31 2023 I have not received either package Despite contacting their supportive customer service team I have been repeatedly informed that the packages are Delayed and will be shipped in the next few days I have engaged in three separate conversations with different individuals over a period of two weeks and each time I received the same explanation of a forthcoming shipment in the next few days which has turned out to be false I am unsure about the cause but it seems that Menlo Club s service has significantly declined in 2023 Unfortunately it appears that paying for a package from them now results in endless waiting without any idea on when if the merchandise will be shipped

Bait and Switch Anything BUT curated
Initial shipment was disappointing it was NOTHING like the style profiles I chose when starting the subscription I received my initial trial box and was charged 60 for the next box and could not cancel even when it was more than two weeks before they shipped my second box My initial box included noisy track pants made from materials from the 90s along with a zip up jacket made from the same material The colors didn t match and they didn t match any style profiles I picked out You can only cancel by phone and by the time I saw my card was charged by Five Los Angeles it was too late The CSR on the phone was friendly enough but he could not refund my last box even though it had not shipped and would not ship until the end of the month They show a lot of items and accessories and I received a pair of jeans and a button down shirt 60 for TWO ITEMS From a brand I ve never heard of that s supposed to be worth more than what they charge DO NOT try Menlo House you ll be sorely disappointed with the random things they send you

Wish I had read the reviews first All the clothes are terrible quality I ve been going back and forth with them for 2 weeks trying to cancel this subscription and they snuck in another 60 charge during that time

Garbage company with sub-par clothing
Garbage company with sub-par clothing and even worse customer service What is the point of setting up a style profile if you could possibly get a style that you would never wear It s like throwing away money They would not work with me at all when I received a shipment that I absolutely hated I am glad to no longer be a customer and will look forward to the day that they are out of business Their styles aren t even forward at all very basic items Save your money and use another similar service if you want to try something like this

Menlo Club Review Frustrating Experience Buyer Beware
I was fortunate enough to receive a Menlo Club gift certificate and I eagerly dove into the subscription service that promised to elevate my style for three months The clothes themselves were fantastic - they fit like a dream and looked great on me Unfortunately the rest of the experience was a nightmare As a newcomer to the service I found the user interface to be less than welcoming and geared towards those who were already in-the-know The support staff were friendly but their explanations were confusing and often left out important details Frankly I was left feeling frustrated and disappointed To be blunt I cannot recommend Menlo Club to others based on my experience If you re considering the service be warned - the lack of user-friendliness and confusing support staff are reasons to stay away not despite them
