No stock availability in website

Very good in delivery No stock availability in website Long queue and short staff almost every time I visit Should call to get stock availability on an item and once I was told that he doesn t have time to check since he had to serve customers in the shop

Great service from branch

The service from branch and online ordering is great however trying to get a credit account is extremely difficult We have credit accounts with the majority of other electrical wholesalers we are never in the red and pay all invoices on time if not before We have applied to TLC for a credit account twice with no response We spend in the region of 150 000 00 per year with electrical wholesalers Either we are not welcome or someone needs a little training if only to say no

Almost perfect

The service was excellent but for one mistake otherwise I would have awarded you 5 stars I gave you the code for day light bulbs and you sent me soft light With the help of Andrew at customer services I was able to change them at your Croydon branch

Risky delivery during this pandemic

My husband ordered something and he seems happy with the product and its price But the delivery guy has not heard of contactless delivery I am pregnant with pre-existing conditions and I have been very careful during this pandemic but the guy without a mask came very close to me and started talking to me when I opened the door I didn t have a mask on because usually delivery people nowadays know not to come close and talk I was not happy about the delivery at all

Knightsbridge MR11 12V GU4downlight Bezels

The quality of the downlight bezels supplied was not great had to modify them slightly to accept GU4 LED Also the amount paid for post and packing was the highest I ve ever paid and delivery time was still not great Would still use TLC as they have a great range and in the past the quality of merchandise was excellent

Complain to head office not the store

Updated review from 1 star to 3 stars Whilst I am still annoyed with what happened head office have stepped in to try to resolve the issue As long as the delivery does arrive on time I will change the review to 4 stars

2kw Convector Heater Timers Useless

Can t blame TLC as they import these Chinese units but having bought x3 of the 2000w convector heaters none of the 24 hr timers work After a week of trying everything to make sure it s the units and not user error I ve just had to purchase x3 24 hour plug timers in order to get the units to do what I ordered them to do I would use TLC again but not for these particular items the convectors produce good heat and thermostat function is works well recommend that you get the units without timers and buy separate plug timers if you want them to operate during specific time periods

Ordered 3x 25mm blanking plugs and paid

Ordered 3x 25mm blanking plugs and paid for expedited delivery received 3x20mm blanking plugs cant be arsed to return for the sake of a tenner Waste of time Branch manager did follow up with mistake made and refunded delivery charge So props for that

Kinetic switches instruction are poor

Kinetic switches instructions very are poor and do not join to Alexa according to their instructions Spoke to the number provided and they forwarded me to technical support Still left a low score as I think their setup guide is very poor Why do the instructions tell you to setup in Kinetic and then jump to talk about Smart Life without any instruction about how to get there They could at least update the PDF on their website

The guard was great but I was expecting fittings to connect it with I also wasn t expecting the quite weighty catalogue which was also sent this increasing the cost of postage
