I bought a record from a seller in Spain Vicente Lopez Gomez Devil Records Valencia - he sent me the wrong record which he admitted and then refused a refund He asked to use the Family and Friends option in Paypal You are then not covered by insurance and you can do nothing to recover the money When after 17 messages back and forth with the seller who was clearly obfuscating I complained to Todocoleccion and they did nothing It is a site for scammers BE WARNED

High postage rates and unfriendly sellers poor conditions

Many of these sellers are so rude refuse to write un English and charge obnoxious postage rates bad packaging please avoid the seller Recortitos and Icequeen So rude the worst everSome are good but in general you have to discuss over and over the postage rates as many charge crazy handling fees fees to bring the parcel to the post office I found some good stuff but the conditionleaves also to be desired

What a BS outfit

What a BS outfit I ordered a 78 record through this organization in spite of overwhelmingly negative on line reviews The seller offering the record had favorable reviews and it was a record I really wanted so I took a chance Well that s about 40 out the window The record arrived this morning in a small flat box with two thin layers of styrofoam and no other protection and was neatly broken into two halves when I unpacked it Apart from that even had the record been whole it would barely have rated Good on the Gold Mine scale It was a mass of severely gray grooves indicating heavy wear and had scratches and needle holes A reputable seller would have provided disclosure of the records poor condition and would have invested an additional couple of dollars to provide adequate packaging to ensure the safe arrival of the record within

This site has good and very bad sidesA lot of Spanish sellers are overcharging the postal fees i o w they make money on the postal feesWhen you point this out they become violently wild and leave disgusting feedbacks NO HELP from the management at allThey expect the buyer to pay for registered mail as they claim that their postal system is bad I had both paid registered and the package was delivered as normal mail I paid the normal fee NEVER received the packageMany sellers have a vast amount of neg feedbacks Many of them refuse to speak French or EnglishCondition is another issue sometimes it looks as the item s went through 3 wars at least you complain no replyWrapping they charge handling time petrol gas to go the post office paper wrap masking tape Several sellers are obsessed about the pay pal fees and please make sure you use the send to a friend option otherwise it is hellSeveral sellers do not even bother to reply and if you insist they block youI do not know if you can write the names of the sellers but some of them are such a rip off they actually are very good in sending repro stuff instead of the originalI buy little now anyway good luck to all buyers and bidders and I reconfirm that the above info is real

Before attempting to buy from the site I read reviews such as the ones here on Trustpilot I saw many people claiming the site had scammers I figured I would still check myself anyways Because of the reviews though I was being very careful The first person I tried to buy from would only accept payment through bank transfer He also put that if the item gets lost in the mail that it is not his problem Then Todocoleccion states they will not get involved in disputes I still decided to push a bit farther and bought the item When I spoke to the seller I asked him twice how much the entire price would be including shipping He never replied He was far to busy focusing on telling me his bank info so I could send him money Just like most scammers they dont pay attention to people when they see they are so close to their goal I refused the item and told him to relist it Todocoleccion then got involved by telling me to pay for it I ignored them Second person I tried to buy from accepted payment by bank transfer or credit card I contacted the seller and said I would not do a bank transfer I asked what was meant by credit card payment The seller did not respond which leads me to believe it was like I figured The seller was likely wanting me to provide all my credit card details directly How stupid would that be Im sure there are some good sellers there But it is not worth the aggravation of breaking apart each situation for scammer behavior Too many other sites to choose from There are a lot of good items on Todocoleccion though It is likely because nobody wants to risk being scammed or possibly because it is just bait Saw a couple of rare things I cannot find anywhere else
