Incompetent Organization

After 2 1 2 days trying to get an account set up I finally was able to send a message to the seller During the setup they want a copy of your divers license front and back last 4 of your SS and your payment info just to set up an account I did not give them any payment info and I regret giving them any other info I requested from the seller to give me a call or send me their number so I could get some questions answered The responded with its very clean and its 18k The listed price on TRED and Autotrader is 15 029 I called TRED to ask them about this this and they said it was the sellers prerogative to set the price I asked TRED if they are ok with advertising a car for 20 lower than thew true price which they did not respond to I then stated it sounded like a bait and switch and then they hung up on me The 2 times I spoke with customer service they were unfriendly 1 was even rude and both were EXTREMELY unknowledgeable about simple questions I will NEVER have anything to do with TRED again

I bought my car in June it s now September and I m still dealing with issues regarding my purchase The whole process initially was a nightmare and I was on the phone for hours bouncing back and forth between TRED and my lender I finally got my car now 3 months later I still don t have my plates Recently I got a notice from my lender that they are not on the lien called to figure out what s going on and apparently the seller didn t release the paper work I m currently on hold after being disconnected multiple times because the lines were at capacity the first time My issue is still not dealt with my second set of temporary tags is about to expire and It seems like my loan is now in jeopardy because of TREDs incompetence as a business Good luck ever getting in touch with anyone getting a response or having anyone actually follow through with what they claim they say they will do The hold music makes me want to stab my ear drums out This was my worst fear in trusting in a start up STAY AWAY buy a car ANYWHERE else

Trying to list my car was like getting a mortgage So many forms and documents and uploading personal information Plus they charge as you go Oh want pictures of your car That s more too They get paid and we do all the work before they even list the car No thanks

Tred is horrible

I listed my vehicle on Tred and after 2 weeks I did a search for my car on cars com and another site they claim to have it listed on It didn t show up on either site I canceled my listing and was charged 99 for a restocking fee I was never contacted by a potential buyer The fee is for when the vehicle sells I m currently working with the BBB and FTC to address Tred to others and warn them

TRED has a terrible service

TRED has a terrible service I bought a car in Dec 22 2020 and followed their instructions online to complete my title and license plate They promised to do everything for you without you going to the DMV They suppose to send me the reassignment form to complete the purchase for title and license plate They did not send me anything for 3 weeks I contact them and they said that the thirty party who suppose to do all that no longer working with them So they will refund my money back for me to do it myself paying my own tax and license plate fee However they still charged me 99 for doing nothing for me

Buyer Beware

Bought my car in August paid in full 10k and still have not received my plates registration or title and it s now October Every time I call I get excuses I will never go through them again and do not recommend them I now have to try to go through the DMV to see if there s something I can do on my own This is a horrible experience

Don t bother trying to contact anyone at the TRED office They say they open at 6am but I called several times between 6 and 8am no one ever picked up the phone Also the buyer I tried to contact didn t respond to in app texts or the test drive request This service is useless

This is the biggest scam of a business

This is the biggest scam of a business You have to pay 19 to list the car and if your car does not sell and you remove it it will cost you another 99 They do not generate any extra exposure or increase your chances of selling They simply send you weekly emails to lower your listing price Your best bet is facebook marketplace beware your minimum payment to them is 118 no matter the outcome
