We ve placed an order for a house bed a mattress and a bed bumper on 28th of January 2024 On the website it said 20 to 30 days is the time for receiving the order which was OK you don t have any other choices Suddenly we received a text message saying we are going to receive our mattress in a few days I was shocked as we knew the bed won t be received so we didn t know what to do with this mattress and the bed bumper After a few weeks we finally received the bed I emailed them several times to get a dispatch date to allow me to dismantle my son s old bed but I never got the date Their only response was that I need to wait to receive a text The bed arrived and when we opened it we realised there was no instruction On the box they mentioned that the instructions are online we checked the website and realised that there is a long list of all the products there you should find yours and follow the steps even though we chose a bed with a drawer but there were no instructions for the drawer so we had to search and find another product with the drawer and use that instruction Then another fun fact happened there were no labels on the parts you should guess which one is the right part to use Unbelievable no one even thinks that when you spend this amount of money for a toddler bed you deserve to have a clear instruction I don t want to solve the jigsaw I want to be able to assemble a bed easily Surprisingly one of the bed slats was longer than the bed width and we had to cut it ourselves We finally managed to assemble it in 5 hours The final result was not what we expected AT ALL the product is not high quality and the drawer is a nightmare too it s not a part of the bed it s like you buy a bed with a certain height from the floor and then you buy a drawer to put under the bed and fill the empty area And the other fact is that the drawer is not attached to the bed The bottom surface of the drawer doesn t have a flat wooden sheet and consist of slatted panels So literally every small item can drop on the floor In total it was a waste of money and a waste of time to assemble it I wish I never bought this bed and found a way to return this nightmare

Nightmare Absolutely avoid Delivery - said it was 72 hours fast delivery 16 days later The instructions are via a QR code which takes you to a list of codes for each bed but absolutely nothing on your order tells you which code your bed is We spent half an hour trying to work it out Why don t you just put the names of the actual beds underneath the code It would take minutes to amend that online Then each part has a name on the manual but no name on the actual part itself Same with the screws We wasted so much time trying to figure out what was what and what went where and quite honestly we just had to guess in the end - try out different ways etc what an absolute waste of our time You then had parts that were supposed to have holes in them but they had noHoles in them We had to get an electric drill to force a hole The list goes on Absolutely avoid For a bed of this price you should have the basic instructions with parts labelled correctly and parts have the holes in the correct places Extremely poor - do not recommend A lot of this was brought to your attention already in a March review and you ve thanked them for their feedback it s important to you blah blah blah - but as I can see you ve done absolutely nothing to rectify the issues Very poor company indeed

Please avoid at all costs We were initially double charged for the bed we ordered Our package was lost upon their first delivery attempt while the second package that was delivered approximately 3 months after our initial order was in an unacceptable state with wooden pieces outside the parcel and all the screws and construction pieces missing As per Consumer Rights Act 2015 we are entitled to a refund which they are refusing to provide leading us to proceed with legal actions Consistently terrible level of service

Beds are very difficult to ensemble Additional holes for no reason in the frame Made in Poland and takes forever to arrive Overpriced Shipment and delivery is so bad We ordered our mattress months ago and had not arrived yet

The bed parts are all the wrong and it s impossible to put together We ve been asked to measure and photograph every piece of the bed as treetale don t know despite very detailed graphic photographs what s gone wrong They won t give us a free return Wish we d never bothered with this company

I ordered a bed and after months of waiting and despite them saying it was delivered it never turned up The company has been ignoring my multiple emails and phone calls requesting a refund Disgusting service and very upsetting for my toddler who needs a new bed Without the refund I can not afford another one I have never received such bad service

We ordered a bunk bed on 15 9 with a railing for the lower bed On 9 10 I opened the boxes only to find the railing is missing and we can t even preassemble the bed I contacted Treetale via email and on 10 10 received a response claiming there was an error in their Finnish version of the site and I was promised a fast delivery of the missing parts Now it s 30 10 and the missing wooden parts arrived but without the missing screws etc for the parts I ve now contacted them again and I m wondering do I really have to wait 2 months to get to assemble a bed I m worried our new child will have born before we get this bed up and running I mean I understand the first issue technical errors happen But this was the second error All the while I have a pile of wood laying on our floor taking space while waiting for the missing parts and two mattresses I m hoping once we finally get to assemble this bed it ll be worth it but at the moment this experience has been horrible and not at all what one could expect at these prices We chose Treetale due it looking like it appreciated quality If the simple logistics of delivering what was ordered is this much of a challenge I can only hope the bed itself can be trusted Once the bed is assembled I hope I ll be able to add a star or two but at the moment I feel like simply saying come pick up your stuff and return us our money I ll get our bed from someone who can actually deliver it Definitely can not recommend

Disappointing customer service and resolution of issue with build quality of the Meli bed I would not recommend purchasing from this company as unfortunately they do not seem listen to the customers requirements feedback or desire to resolve your issue in a timely manner I had requested a refund on the shipping costs to compensate us for the trouble to which they have never responded and we are still yet to receive any new parts to resolve the problem with the bed I would be willing to reconsider my review once or if a resolution is achieved

Very good bed like pictured customer service has been super helpful and responsive through some delivery delays Thank you Only criticism is that the bare wood can chip a bit when assembling and the corner of the safety rail is fragile so we put a bracket on it ourselves for it not to break But our 19month old daughter loves her new big girl bed Mattress is hard but good Generally a happy customer

Meli house bed Bed is good quality with nice solid wood and looks good We purchased the under bed pull out drawer - it isn t fixed in any way to the bed which is great if you want a separate bed away from the main one but requires a bit of jiggling around to get it perfectly lined up to go back under as it s quite a tight fit A mattress for this pull out needs to be shallow and ideally a bit shorter than a standard bed to fit well We ve also had to take the front bar off as we bashed our heads on it multiple times whilst tucking little one in It s a shame that there is no headboard - I didn t think about this when purchasing the bed but there are a couple of inches between the top of the mattress and the wall so pillow keeps falling down the back I can see this might affect the aesthetics of it though Overall we are pleased with the bed and the company however might not chose this particular design if we were to do it again
