Trident Medical Center refuses to do diagnostic mammogram

Trident Medical Center refused to schedule then cancelled an appointment for a diagnostic mammogram ordered by my doctor and approved by my insurance company because I was unable to provide all imaging biopsy results etc that I had done outside of the Trident system - which is 50 years worth of records It is impossible so they cancelled an appointment Then they couldn t find the order s - then they said they cancelled the appointment because the order didn t include an ultrasound - which was never discussed Today they said they would only schedule a Screening mammogram in order to get a baseline I am 67 years old and have a breast lump that is growing My mother had breast cancer as did an aunt There is no need for me to be subject to 2 rounds of radiation It needs to go straight to scheduling a diagnostic mammogram with a biopsy and ultrasound at the same time I am there This situation is beyond ridiculous I recommend anyone in South Carolina - or wherever else Trident might have operations - to choose another service provider from the beginning
