I am still awaiting 2 of my 3 items of my order and although i presume this is down to DPD it does mean i am left without knowing a delivery date if it is delivered at all I would suggest another courier

Update 18 July 2023I have now received the missing item from my Order so I have amended my review from 1 to 3 stars to reflect this The issue was handled reasonably well Recent big order of 140 97 of 12kg of dog food 10kg of cat food One box of one delivered claiming to be 22kg and include both items along with invoice for full price Where is my 2nd item No cat food included I will revise my opinion of Trusty Pet Supplies if they efficiently resolve this problem I have emailed and will phone when their office is next open My first experience of this company and so far not good

Excellent product supplier but delivery driver surly refused to put 24kilo box where requested even though it was closer to his van A 72 year old on my own it was v difficult for me to move subsequently

I asked the delivery man if he could please bring my box to my flat on the first floor It s hard for a woman to carry a 20k box anytime but even more so at the moment as I ve just had a foot operation and I m on crutches Instead he just left it downstairs and I had no one to help me The previous delivery man from DHL carried my delivery up on his shoulder in 30 seconds flat every three weeks for two years without me even asking I really don t think it would have been too much trouble for your man

The delivery was quick - but there was inadequate packing material There were 12 tins loose in the box with NO packing around them Consequently 4 of the tins arrived dented I also think they had been exposed to high temperatures as the contents were very soft and mushy

Normally I give Trusty Pets a FIVE STAR review for the packaging and delivery of my Order of Dried Mealworms HOWEVER this time my order was damaged Although I cannot fault the Delivery Service my order arrived VERY speedily and for that I am very grateful Trusty Pets are so reliable on this issue BUT I think some attention must be given to the strength of the plastic bag in which the dried mealworms arrived The bag had split wide open inside the box and the mealworms were no longer in the plastic bag but loose in the box and they manged to get into every small cranny and fold in the cardboard packaging It took me AGES to extricate them all and a lot broke up as they are so fragile if handled Normally I just pour the contents of the plastic bag straight into the large container in which I keep the mealworms Not possible this time so rather frustrated Please can you put them in a stronger bag in the box Thank you

In the past I ve always had a very good service with Trusty Pet Supplies In this order I left a note at the checkout to politely ask if they could make sure that the box my items was packed in was in a strong box and that the bird seed inside was packaged in strong bags as a few times these have arrived damaged and broken As the items I ordered were very heavy I thought this made sense When the delivery arrived not only had one of the parcels had to be taped up by DPD because it had broken so badly but one of the big bags inside had split causing everything to spill out into the box inside

I love the wide variety of raw food they have and they are quite reliable on delivery It s great that I can ask for specific delivery dates really love that The reason I give 3 star is their bad customer service The lamb tripe I ordered was in bad quality and I ask them for help They said they would contact the manufacturer and it s been 2 months still heard nothing back

Delivery was quick as usual for raw dog food but there was not enough ice packs or packing to 1 stop the defrosting 2 stop the loose boxes being thrown around inside As a result there was blood over everything and a few tears from wet boxes I passed this onto customer service they asked for photos which I had none as I was keen to put things in the freezer and clean blood off all the boxes my kitchen and myself They ve ignored me ever since I only suggested to provide 1 more ice pack perhaps during the heatwave and a simple thanks for your feedback would have sufficed The service itself is great but it seems from what I ve seen on Google reviews and my own experience the good service stalls once customer service is involved ironically

Ordering easy Delivery excellent with good communication Some of the Mince I ordered were watery and sloppy and my dogs wouldn t eat it especially the oily fish Mince but the stripes are good so will stick to those Overall happy so far
