Disappointed Customer Never again will I order from Tulip World Ordered a bare root peony last fall Spring time comes and noticed that leaves have traces of Tobacco Rattle Virus Did my research and checked with local nurseries before reaching out to Tulip World Emailed them with pictures and they claimed it was aphids that caused the leaf discoloration very similar to on-line images of TRV I closely inspected plant even under leaves and surrounding area and informed them that there is no traces nor a single Aphid anywhere on leaves and stems their response was it s not always seen Seems like they will come up with any excuses not to make it right I ll take it as a lost Who knows what ridiculous response I ll get next Just wanted to warn others to please read all the reviews before you place an order with them

Money taken no order received
I placed an order totaling 45 and when I contacted them to see when it would arrived was told my card was declined When checking my card balance debit card the money was sent Tulip World wanted a copy of my statement which I couldn t get until it was posted this month I sent an electronic copy and the next excuse was they would have to investigate which I told them back in NV Still waiting to hear from them No bulbs and no refund

HORRIBLE customer service
Update After my review I immediately received a response from Tulip world asking that I email them with my order information and issue so they could resolve it Great I did I emailed them They never got back to me If I could drop my one star review to zero I would HORRIBLE customer service Like others I wish I had read the reviews first Ordered Ranuncula bulbs Was sent yellow daffodils instead Wrote them several times asking for a refund or partial refund Absolutely NO response Not even an acknowledgment Horrible service Would NOT recommend

Before placing my order I confirmed Shipping Time
Before placing my order I confirmed shipment date of a few select bulbs to be used as a fundraiser There were no hesitations or hick ups with them taking my order or monies But now the time to deliver has come and they cant supply the bulbs on time Stating some of them are still in the ground in Holand I was very clear with the lady who helped me pick out what bulbs in August that they would be ready to ship by the needed date

I ordered hyacinth bulbs
I ordered hyacinth bulbs and when I opened them one was very moldy Not prone to allergies I had a severe burning sensation on my neck which took about 20 minutes to get under controlConcerned it would continue I threw the bulbs away When I contacted customer service I was told that this has happened to other customers and they can t control customers allergic reactions So no apology and no refund

I will never buy from again
I bought 75 paperwhite bulbs to force - I have been doing this for 30 years and with great results every year usually buying them locally Decide to try Tulip World this year - worst bulbs 5 weeks later nothing is barely coming up I will never buh from again Some arrived moldy about 10 - did not plant those but the rest just never grew - will never buy from again

Terrible company
Terrible company I only received half of my dahlia order they are dry damaged tiny bulbs not sure any of them will grow Sent email few times asking about missing plants - no response Disgraceful

Plants DOA Tulip World Refusing Refund
I naively ordered from Tulip World because they had the variety of Clematis I wanted and I couldn t find it locally I also added some Echinacea and Phlox to the order while I was at it The plants finally came and they all looked DEAD I planted them the minute they arrived in top planting soil and perfect conditions Only one clematis grew the rest remained dead I contacted TW a couple weeks in and asked for a refund they said they ship their plants in a dormant stage so it takes 6-8 weeks to see growth What a line They tell you that because after 6-8 weeks they don t give cash refunds only gift certificates to get more dead plants I stupidly did not check reviews on TW before ordering and I should have as I m not the only one they have cheated I will be contacting BB and I guess their state attorney general about TW s poor business practices Cheating customers is not a good way to do business By the way after three months the only live plant is barely 3 inches tall Not good quality at all

I received an order that was terrible
I received an order that was terrible Lily bulbs were not only short but rotten Some had already sprouted and died while others had sprouts up to 12 long and twisted in circles so they could not grow The company requested I send pictures which I did It s been silence No reputable company would have mailed rotten bulbs Their site guarantees 100 growth That s definitely dishonest advertising

Bulbs were DOA Customer service aweful
I ordered 3 begonia bulbs i received them after a long time It was a bit late in the season so I asked the chat room if I should store them They did not reply so I did Planted them this season Not so much as a sprout This time the customer service people got on line long enough to tell me I had violated the grow guarantee by storing the bulbs and so they could do nothing for me High margin business Ship bulbs that don t grow with no consequence and outsourced spotty customer service that tells its customers they are SOL
