I knew the job posting on ZipRecruiter of all places was a scam immediately I referenced working for Thrifty Payless in the 90s which was bought out by Rite Aid The upward net posting stated they had a full time pharmacy tech position with a 700 sign on bonus BOGUS

I thought I was applying for a job directly but found myself added to this very sketchy site Immediately started receiving emails and text messages There is no way to remove yourself from the website so I disabled viewing my profile and took out my real email and phone number The emails from their so-called hiring specialists look fake I ve contacted their support email and demanded they remove my profile immediately We ll see how that goes

False and misleading Entices you with a position from your Ziprecruiter search and is a well-known local company The local company s career site doesn t list the position After you take the bait they list a bunch of entry-level no skilled labor jobs that don t match your skill set Scam-detector gives it a 90 favorable rating I guess scam-detector didn t check out this website

I clicked on an IT Help Desk Tech position that came from my job alert from Zip Recruiter This redirected to a prompt requiring my email address Then the next prompt required my cell phone number The next screen required I upload my resume but not for the Zip Recruiter posting I am in the midst of deleting my Zip Recruiter profile Job seekers need to be aware of the scam coming from Upward net

Should have known when i saw 3 jobs i hadnt seen local at companies close by wish i knew it was a scam before I entered my email and phone number didnt upload my resume at least before checking should know bwtter seems too good to be true well

Do not be fooled by this website They are phishing for your information I clicked on a job link that was sent to me and immediately it was flagged with a Your connection is not private message This is a big red flag and should be heeded as the site is not secure I also tried to unsubscribe from the recruiter emails from both Emily and Ella and the unsubscribe button led to an access denied page Stay away and instead use well-known sites for job searching such as Indeed It s not worth the risk

HORRIBLE Avoid at all costs

This is a spam trap Not sure how they got my info but they inundate you with email and text notifications for jobs that aren t relevant and likely fake and then their Unsubscribe link is conveniently broken so you can t opt out They try to make you create an account in order to opt out and unsubscribe which I refuse to do as I don t want such an unethical company having any more of my information

I have experienced the exact same thing except they are operating under upward careers now too Please file a complaint spamuce gov I just did but we need more people to do the same to get these people shut down Unfortunately I was unable to enter the email address so put an at sign between the m and the U for the complete email for the govt body who will get this resolved Thank you
