Upward.net presents itself as a contemporary digital destination focused on empowering individuals throughout their professional journeys. The website positions itself not merely as a job board, but as a holistic career growth platform designed to connect talent with opportunity in a more meaningful and streamlined way.
The central mission of Upward appears to be bridging the gap between ambitious professionals and forward-thinking companies. The platform caters to two primary audiences: job seekers looking to advance their careers and employers seeking to attract top-tier talent. The user interface is typically clean and modern, emphasizing ease of navigation. Key sections are intuitively organized, allowing users to quickly access job searches, company profiles, and career resources.
For individuals, Upward.net offers a suite of tools aimed at simplifying and enhancing the job search process.
For companies, Upward.net provides a targeted channel for recruitment and employer branding.
Upward.net operates in the competitive space of online recruitment, differentiating itself through a user-centric design and a focus on quality over quantity. The platform seems to leverage modern web technologies to ensure speed, reliability, and a seamless experience across desktop and mobile devices. Its emphasis on company culture and detailed profiles suggests a target market of tech-savvy professionals and companies that value employer branding, including startups and established firms in sectors like technology, marketing, and professional services.
In summary, Upward.net functions as a comprehensive career ecosystem. It reduces the noise often associated with online job searches by providing structured information and tools for both sides of the hiring equation. For job seekers, it is a resource for discovery, application, and career management. For employers, it is a platform for targeted recruitment and effective talent attraction. By facilitating these connections with a modern interface and rich data, Upward aims to make the process of finding a job or hiring talent more efficient, transparent, and successful for all parties involved.

No idea what they are trying to do
I m not sure what this site is aiming for Mining for personal information It looks legit but several job applications that I made on this site clearly were not real applications After contacting the company I supposedly applied for they had no record of this There is no way this is legal They must skim through legitimate websites with real job posts and copies data This is of course on top of a rather ridiculous spamming of text messages and emails They did however make it easy to stop that but it seems very crappy to by default send you several emails AND text messages every day Edit This company has tried contacting me to make me change this review I WILL NOT I am still furious that multiple job applications I made were not actually sent to the companies I applied for THIS IS ILLEGAL

Possibly Fake Job Alerts
I deleted my ZipRecruiter account out of suspicion that Upward net blends in and re-publishes ZipRecruiter jobs Since cancelling I have received a few more ZipRecruiter job alerts which might have been a mimic to lead me to a fake application and steal the sensitive information which goes on a real job application That may or may not have been the case As a precaution I did not click anything whatsoever in those job alerts

Waste of time
I somehow inadvertently signed up with Upward in my job search and then received daily emails from random unnamed job agents Most of the postings I was sent were only marginally within the criteria I was looking for The really frustrating thing is they would say something like There s a new posting for Senior Designer with Such-And-Such company in San Francisco click the link to see the job and then the link would bring me to the application rather than the job description I m not going to just blind-apply to a job without knowing what I m getting into It s just silly that they haven t thought this out Avoid Upward however possible

I Received Email Which Aroused My Suspicion
I just received an email and the email address listed was broken I did a Reverse Lookup after adding com I also added net There was no name address or ownership information available I think what they really wanted was for me to click the broken email address I think doing so would have directed me to a scammer who would start with my resume and use it as a springboard to proceed with Phishing for the sensitive information which has to be included on a real job application BE EXTREMELY CAREFUL ALWAYS

This is a scam company
This is a scam company They trick you into creating a profile on their system When you see their window pop up disregard the job and move on If they do trick you into giving them your info go in and edit the record make it private Unfortunately they do not give you the option of deleting your info from the system so you need to change it unless you are comfortable letting these bait and switch scammers having your information and using it to market their services

Ligit or not I would not support them I got a pop-up as if it related to a job I was interested in from another site I put in my email and name before I realized it was unrelated Over the next few days I got job suggestions not even remotely related to me Even when I went to their website to check them out I felt I was wasting my time I won t spend any more time on this legitimate or not
