Horrible Tech Tier Support 2 Service
Normally I get awesome service from the reps However Sun Oct 17 I got a Tier 2 technical support named Thomas He was rude the last time I got him and today was no different He refused to listen to me as I had to tell him SEVERAL times what my issue was what I was seeing and how long the issue has gone on Instead he was condescending rude and acted like a know it all I was so disgusted with his attitude I just hung up instead of getting more frustrated by his treatment If I ever get him again I m going to ask for a different rep that has customer service skills excuse he doesn t

Sad Ending with US Cellular after 10 years of loyalty
I was with US Cellular for over 10 years I switched providers for cheaper service I left with a 0 balance US Cell turned me into Jefferson Collections One month after I left I made sure I was paid in full before ending my service US Cell didn t even send me the fake bill of 161 00 they immediately turned me into collections and now my credit score dropped 34 points US Cell won t help me in any way because they sold my account to Jefferson Capital Collections and Now Jefferson is saying I have a second account that never did exist I feel I am being punished for leaving after never missing one payment in 10 years

To refund or not to refund
I paid my monthly bill only to find they credited another number I was told that they were issuing me a refund but it would take about a month The month comes and goes no refund I call and was told they don t do refunds Then the story changed to the refund was denied Customer service agents were short and unapologetic offering no relief and now my phone is off Wouldn t offer ANYTHING to compensate me Feel very used as a customer

Absolutely worst company ever How I have stayed for over 10 years is beyond me They will lie to get you in the store lied about the services I would receive want me to pay 210 for internet service that was absolute garbage after my son downloaded just one game etc asked to speak to a manager and never got a call back Cancelled everything Just ridiculous how they scam hard working loyal customers I do not recommend this company to anyone ever

This is the very worst customer service on the planet Pay 800 bucks for a phone an have it on their half ass service They still refuse to unlock pos phone so I can get one that works Boost would be better service than this Us cellular ain t even American speaking They can t understand cause no English in combination I would fecomend a Walmart service before this joke of a service Don t get it It s a trap You are nothing but money to these greedy Chinese speaking freeloaders

The cellular data service is spotty at best and I made my first payment and it never actually went to my account they lost my 100 payment and threatened to suspend my service because THEY screwed up I had better service with TextNow and it only cost me 1 if I wanted their premium service but their basic plan is free I seriously would NOT recommend U S Cellular if they were the last company on planet Earth

Misrepresentation
So I changed my pre-paid plan at the Ellsworth ME store to the Everyday Basic plan in late July 2023 and was assured by the store associate in Canada it would work for an upcoming trip to Canada This plan is also listed on their website as working in Canada I got to Canada and lo and behold it didn t work I was able to contact an associate who assured me for an extra 10 it would work OK fine and it did work It seems there is deceptive advertising taking place here

Nearly non-existent data connection ever since their 5G upgrade Pretty disappointing especially when I m stuck paying 135 each month for data I can t even use On top of that I have far less reception than before Don t even give this provider a second look if you re wanting something relaible

The run around with customer service
The run around with customer service Can t get through to manager Service was set up incorrectly with store clerk Somehow connected an old address of my Mother s and didn t set up auto pay so paper bill went to really old address which makes no sense since I set up service with new DL correct address Have been trying to connect and when finally get rep the supervisor has already declined back to what shouldn t have been charged originally So disappointed Had great service with Sprint had to switch when merge with T Mobile happened

US Celluar is an scam with bill payments I have two lines an mobile phone that s 49 99 an month and internet for 59 99 month I m getting charged an extra 20 for each line Then getting charged an extra 40 every month for account level the total is Im paying 200 month So do not get fooled about their prices and deals its an scam This is ridiculous I m finding an new carrier send asap
