Money grab and misleading service
Misleading service from agents told my service would be a set rate when in the states which was the primary reason I went with them as I travel frequently However kept hundreds of dollars I put on my account for my traveling usage just to tell me they stopped provided service in the states and failed to notify me Thus won t be refunded me the additional money I put on my account for US usage Then when I canceled my service and wanted my money for the new month I won t be using they refused to refund as well Money grab awful experience don t care about customers

Slow and unstable with gimmick stated 4G on phone worst than 3G data feed most of the times Disappointed when communicating then encounter cut off in the mid of conversation remind me 2G era Cute need to work harder and quicker before end up in chapter 11 history

Chatr is only useful for emergency calls as when first arriving in Canada Customer service is missing A human rep in a store puts in a SIM card activates your account after payment Got a problem No help at all No live chat no human reps to phone The Covid excuse is over-used if not even a live chat option Thus I cannot discover why I have no internet function if outside the house-wifi when my Chatr account shows 1400 mb remaining I have cellular data turned on in my cell phone settings The solution move on

Terrible customer service and a complete lack of willingness to help clarify a simple issue Needed to update my payment information for my under aged child s cell phone account The service agent was not willing to change the expiry date of the credit card in order to prevent a disruption of service and did not allow me to speak with a manager All they did was follow a script and repeat the same line of text Terrible

Thats it Im off to The better Business Bureau here in Ottawa with other people i know on CHATR Weve hsd ENOUGH These guys are CROOKS This is Kids internet there is no signal to do anything and i just rebooted and paid Ive lost so much money not to be able to have a working phone Im a laughing stock at work because we have meetings and asked to use our phone to call up whstever and god forbid theres photos by the time my phone loads the meeting is over This is FRAUD Also you Fast com it to check signal and it shows signal strength but after theres nothing so they are hooked in to Fast com and give fslse readings of signal strength CROOKS So today CLASS ACTION SUIT tp CHATR and parent ROGERS WE ALSO are accumilating clients from all over Ontario Ive complained over and over again and in fact last time i spoke to manager he laughed and said i know its terrible unbelievable Now it will be in be a class action suit as ive spent 5000 dollars with these money grabbers for 5 years just RIDICULOUS LOOK OUT CHATR

Terrible Customer Service staff Either incompetent or lazy Cannot receive incoming phone calls for last 2 weeks At first ring of incoming calls it goes to Voice Mail and cannot answer calls Spoken to 3 Customer Service staff and supervisor and problem still not fixed Keep away fro Chatr Mobile since they do not provide you what you contract with them

Still the freaking worst worst app seriously worst phone and customer service Just the worst stay the hell away from Chatr just another get rich quick scheme that provides the worst service for its customers Trust me I ve given them plenty of time to improve but I m done it s like the damn company is just on auto-pilot for being the worst

Terrible app and user experience
The app is so temperamental - even if you click Remember Me it says it can t log in for whatever reason Most times you just exit and re-enter the app and it s fine but every now and then it ll keep doing it until you run out of attempts and then you have to reset your password You also can t cancel auto-pay without calling them It takes all of two seconds to do but you re put on hold for up to half an hour before that Really terrible user design - clearly intended to be difficult if not impossible to cancel your plan

I called chatr wireless few days ago to get help with with changing preauthosed payment and add a new credit card First agent who was a Male hanged up on me after I was put on a ten minute hold I had requested to speak to manager As there was password problem I called back after several attempts got a female agent I was not happy with her knowledge and service as well She lso did not help me to solve my problem Had difficulty understanding her I wasted an hour and became so frustrated that requested to speak to her manager again She refused and said manager is busy will call me back I am still waiting and not had a cal back from chatr wireless manager yet My case us still unresolved I am thinking of changing carriers Very bad customer service
