WHERE IS MY REFUND Dont give them a deposit as they will not give it back to you in a hurry if at all They promised at booking that it was refundable if you dont buy anything I bought a bit and they agreed to refund the rest 1 month 1 email 2 calls since - nothing and not even a reply I told them yesterday I would take to media if they didn t pay me still nothingTHIS IS THEFT DONT USE THEM go elsewhere EDIT re Vanity reply this doesn t explain why they held my money for 3 weeks and also doesn t explain why they ignored my previous 2 communications and seemingly only did something when I threatened media They have also ignored my emails asking why they held my money EDIT 2 - refund received they are replying to emails but not answering why it takes so long and 3 chases to get refund back they cite 30 day terms on refunds FYI

I and my daughter attended Vanity Studio on Sunday The day was great up until being told that the package was 990 At no time were we told in advance that this was the package available or for that matter that there were alternative and cheaper packages Sadly it seems that the only criteria Vanity have is to make as much money as possible I am quite happy to buy alternative packages with a reduced number of photos but I quite simply cannot afford to pay 990 00 for all the photos and certainly don t require the canvas I should add that by the time we were told the cost it was nearly 7pm and after a long day travelling to London from our home in Cambridge I was left feeling exhausted and pressurised into buying I have tried contacting Vanity Studios on three occasions to three different people and have still to receive a reply Please check all the details very carefully before agreeing to this photo shoot

AVOID Collared at Westfield Stratford all sounded lovely and paid a deposit for a shoot for 3 4 of my family Phoned to book in to be given limited options of booking slots The most suitable one was 6 months away They asked for 80 per person to hold the booking I said that was not what had been described to me at the time of booking and asked for a refund Was told as I hadn t asked for a refund in a short time period I would have to pay the 320 deposit or forfeit the original money paid I was not prepared to pay a booking deposit of this amount for something happening in 6 months time Believe this to be a very disreputable company who do not describe the process fully at the time of original purchase while you are being chatted up in a shopping centre AVOID

Scammers Keep requesting more money and payment Trap you in by taking payments first Will get harassed by different colleagues calling and calling for addition to the service agreed

Appalling I booked two vouchers for my daughters Xmas pressies then had to book the actual photo shoot within two months of purchasing - bought a month before Xmas as Christmas pressies Then was asked to pay a 100 refundable deposit to secure the date which was 23rd Feb Needed to cancel the day so called early jan - giving them 7 weeks notice and they refused to give me refundable deposit back Disgusted as although I understand and didn t ask for refund on vouchers of course to now am out of pocket for the refundable deposit for the 33rd Feb which I no longer want They suggested I emailed Rebecca to discuss this which I did and I got an email saying she doesn t work there anymore Still waiting to get my refundable deposit back SCAM

JenniferI have read your response on trust pilot from my earlier review With 7 weeks notice I know many hotels - as I m am in that business - would discuss and refund the deposit even if they can t refund the vouchers After all you have my money for the two vouchers which will not be happening so you are already holding money for doing nothing Seven weeks notice is plenty of time for this not to affect income on any respectable business You should do the right thing when dealing with real people and show some understanding

They were back at MCM with a whole load of new sales people fawning I was approached and the woman started what I can only guess would have been a well-rehearsed spiel about the virtues once stopped I pointed out the hidden costs they denied any yet voucher then requires booking deposits the voucher gets you 1 picture and for cosplay they want you to take multiple Advised I was lured back in 2022 and promised a refund by many people at Vanity all who go completely silent when you reply and you never get the mis-sold money back Complete scam

I am very disappointed with how my recent experience at this studio was handled particularly regarding unexpected fees and a sales process that felt manipulative and lacked transparency I purchased a voucher at an event in London for what was sold as a London Fashion Week style makeover experience including hair makeup nails and photos The voucher was meant to be a fun gift for my friend s 50th birthday but it turned into a financial burden I wasn t prepared for After booking I was informed of a 150 booking deposit that had never been mentioned at the time of purchase This deposit was later applied toward the cost of additional photos which I had no intention of buying I believed the deposit was refundable and I thought I was paying just 50 more for the photos which my friend and I split Instead I found myself paying an extra 200 after they already had my deposit I felt pressured into this purchase because the process was unclear and misleading Free alcohol was also offered during the experience which in hindsight I believe clouded my judgment when agreeing to the extra costs This practice is concerning as it compromises a customer s ability to make rational financial decisions Adding to my frustration I received an email the evening of the photoshoot promising a free digital image in exchange for leaving a review While I initially left a positive review I have not received the promised image nor do I want it now Although the makeover experience itself was enjoyable the entire process left me feeling manipulated and misled What was meant to be a thoughtful gift turned into an expensive and disappointing ordeal This business needs to improve transparency and fairness in its sales practices I cannot recommend this experience based on how I was treated

Welcome was great at Old Street One hair stylist on her phone all the time Lovely photographic session When it came to choosing the photos the sales lady spoke way too fast to cause confusion was quite rude when we queried the prices and very rushed This spoiled the whole day for us I ve had correspondence regarding the extortionate cost of 10 digital photos but they have now just stopped responding to my questions

It is not a transparent business Do scroll down and read other reviews The purpose of this business is to sell photoshoots but that was not mentioned when they grabbed us in the Olympia Spirit of Christmas Fair In short do NOT get tempted however attractive any pampering offer may sound unless you are prepared to pay AT LEAST about 400 and the prices go up into the thousands for the photoshoots Once you are in the premises you won t be able to get out And prices are going to be mentioned ONLY when you are stuck in a dark room having been filled with prosecco offered no food whatsoever for 3-4 hours and besotted with the photos they took of you We had had to leave a 50 deposit per person when booking Another hook One plus staff was friendly make-up and hair styling were good However you had been asked to arrive with ready-washed hair That should have rung bells No professional nail varnishing was available either
