Convert MPS AVCHD to MPEG4 but it s not easy

I use this to convert MPS AVCHD videos to MPEG4 and it works well The problem with this software is that is so unintuitive that I can understand why it gets such low ratings What should be an easy intuitive path to select a file for conversion then select the output format then select the destination folder and finally select convert turns into a mishmash of redundant and confusing steps Unfortunately it s typical of a slapped together software with good intentions but very poor implementation C mon guys you can do better

Need a built-in editor

YesI know I can slice videos but it s quite the trouble and the process is tiresome It would be nice to have a simple built-in video slicing tool

My go-to player BUT

It s been my go-to player for a long time and seems to read files other players don t That being said it constantly has updates weekly and when you update you lose the place where you last stopped watching

VLC media player is genial and I think well recognized in the informatic community Sometimes I am wondering how they can earn money as long as they are not a profit based enterprise Anyway I hope that this user-friendly and advanced technological software could be an example for future enterprise in the informatic field
