I called to talk to a professional about buying a radio I thought that the sell people knew what they are talking about I was totally miss lead and now they won t help me with my return I will NOT be bring my business back to this company

Bought a Ranger RCI 99N2 Was told it would be doing about 250 watts pep Paid for the tune up and allignment When it arrived it was only doing 40 watts and frequency was so far out of allignment on ssb no one could understand me This place is more than a joke it s a complete rip off When I called Tom the sales man I bought it from I was pretty much told tough luck They don t warranty the radios or the crappy work they do Do be fooled for their big store hype This place is a hack shop Pay a few dollars more up front and buy from a reputable radio technician that will warranty their work

I purchased a Ranger X9 radio from Walcott CB sells I received it in like three days which is really fast I thought I had to wait a couple weeks to install the radio due to the power cord needing to be extended and put in the battery box I hooked it up the radio seem like it worked fine I noticed that the power meter when I transmit was not moving my SWR meter did not work the box was not damaged in any way when I received so I sent the radio back to Walcott to get repaired I know there s a biggest CB shop in the world I question the quality control and their alignment of the radio itself You might want to check out other options Bigger is not always better

Stay far far away these guys are scam artists

Absolutely the worst place to order ANY equipment from they will recommend one radio then another then another and confuse you to buy one that doesn t match your needs then customer service won t help after I paid 350 bucks for my rig instead they cancel my order and now I gotta wait a week for a refund l I should ve listen to bells cb these guys are horrible Tom was supposed to help me anyway he could very disappointing I was far warned by bells cb and two other companies to stay away from Walcott but I didn t listen now I m paying Tom was helpful and courteous but Blaine was a lying in trained unprofessional customer service rep Instead of helping me with me order he cancled it after waiting 4 days for this crap you all deserve a one star tbh Tom got the one star

Purchased a Ranger Radio and after a couple of months I started to have problems with some feedback when I turned the power just above its lowest point after installing another Radio that didn t show the problem I figured it was an internal problem with the RCI so I returned it to Walcott to have it checked They called me in about 12 days and told me nothing was wrong with the Ranger and after talking with them I was given some good advice on what could be my problem I was only charged shipping and I m very satisfied with Walcott
