This company respect their custoimers Excellent and Professional
When I leave reviews I tru to point to the negative things so other peoples are aware of bad companies however when it came to WD I could not help but leaving a positive review if there are 10 stars I will give it I am bi fan of this company and have been using their products for over 15 yrs I have the WD PR4100 I had a problem with one of the disks few yrs ago All what I needed was to call WD to get a new replacement in 24 hrs Most recent experience was with WD wireless passport pro 1 TBI had it for over a year then i t stopped working which seems a common problem with this product recently I contacted WD via online ticket service I then lost hope that thy will contact back as the product was out of warranty They then contacted me and sent me a new boxed replacement This had the same issue so I contacted them and return it They sent me another boxed new one which is working fine This company respects their customers I hope that I will see a new generation of WD NAS which I will not hesitate to buy

THEIVES Horrible company if I could leave negative stars I would I purchase 2 ps5 hard drives 1 by mistake I only have 1 ps5 and 1 child In which i followed policy sent back the next day BRAND NEW SEALED IN PACKAGE UNOPENED Texted back n fourth between customer service 45 days later for waiting for my refund They sent me back a used refurb in a used bagged item from some one else kept my brand new hard drive with no refund Clearly the person that received in the item made an error The refused to fix this mistake What a ing SCAM Its really so sad they got multi million dollar company has to steal from there customers Said they tracked the item to best buy but it was bought from them FUNNY THEY CAN TRACK THAT BUT NOT TRACK THE ONE I SENT THEM BACK VERY CONVIENET that they resold I WILL NEVER SHOP FROM THEM AGAIN AND I will continue to tell everyone I know to not shop here either Hope my 350 was worth losing a valuable customer I wish I has seeen alll these 1 star reviews Clearly I am not the only scammed unhappy customer Great way to do business lmfao

Issues happen but this is the final straw
Three systems bought in the past year sharing information between offices in 3 continents Now local access only Teams working now cannot Files required have to be transferred manually through other means WD better not force us to buy yet more hardware or there will be lawsuits

Hard to contact WD service Tried to contact by phone - long wait no response Then tried chat - long wait then got terminated Trying to clone old drive to new drive WD not providing software for using Passport drives for backing up computer hence using Acronis For Western Digital as WD recommends Vendor of new computer recommends against cloning - might clone virus or corrupted program - so I need answer from WD NO SUPPORT from WD

Worst company ever encountered No customer service and they steal your money as they don t give back refunds or replacements just they lie and say they do They got my return in October according to tracking showing it was delivered but refuse to refund it is now November still nothing To anyone considering them please avoid You will lose your money

new western digital blue 2tb dead no returns
Bought a new western digital blue 2tb hard drive drive 2 years ago almost to the day I got about 1 to 1 5 years usage out of it not many files on it and it has died and no longer works I put it to one side and when I got the opportunity to test it on another computer I did and yet same result Nothing no sound of the drive It s dead I have tried to claim warranty in Australia but they have refused saying my warranty has expired 1 year after my purchase If you buy western digital just know they don t really have warranties anymore and you will have to threaten or engage in a legal way to attempt for a resolution to your problem Stay clear from western digital hard drives Western digital hard drives have less of a shelf life than my can of peas I have in my cupboard

This is probably one of the worse
This is probably one of the worse companies I have ever dealt with I submitted an RMA for a defective hard drive that was accepted and approved but I still have not received a replacement just a lot of time wasted chasing and being rewarded with robotic automatic responses I will in future avoid buying a drive or any product from a company that appears to not respect the need to provide a good service to their customers Just avoid and look elsewhere

Security app not supported anymore Drive can t be opened
By far the worst customer service ever encountered Robot emails Do NEVER use their security features because once they stopped supporting the sec app you can t open it anymore and they provide absolutely zero knowledge how to solve the situation Sending links to irrelvant pages makes you feel that their support is handled by robots or peolpe that don t understand english Complete waste of money
