Kate has been a fantastic support I have a busy lifestyle and Kate was very accommodating to fitting my training schedule around my weekday commitments She was encouraging throughout and kept in regular contact to ensure that she assessed each of my runs and progress as i went through the training program Thanks to her great training schedule I managed to achieve a PB way above and beyond what I thought I could sub 2 hr for half marathon

Excellent running coach
We Run matched me with Lee who is one of the London based coaches and I m so grateful they did Lee got to know my strengths and weaknesses and by doing so was able to structure our weekly sessions with the perfect balance of pushing me to my limits while still keeping it fun although at the time I may have said otherwise I had the goal of the London Marathon 2022 in mind and Lee s brilliant coaching got me in way under my personal predicted time AND I enjoyed every step of the 26 2miles without ever hitting the wall it was the best day and I truly have Lee to thank for it

Highly recommend
Angela has been brilliant The sessions were really beneficial and enjoyable It has been so worthwhile learning how to run efficiently and have goals to work towards Angela explained everything really well and broke every down so that I could focus on one element at a time before joining it all together I would definitely recommend these sessions

Effective training plan goal achieved
Kate devised a personalised plan for me based on my running experience and statistics so far She explored my hopes and helped me set realistic and achievable goals She talked me through the plan and took into consideration the terrain of what I was training for and where I was completing my training I felt fully confident and supported in my plan and knowing Kate was there in the background to turn to if needed was so reassuring Initially the plan can feel daunting but take it a day run at a time or a week at a time and you ll honestly be amazed what Kate can help you achieve I m so grateful for her input and advice and so chuffed with the outcome Maybe I ll be back for another training plan in future

Great runners MOT with Kate
Kate was great She really helped me to understand how I can improve my running technique to make my running more efficient She gave me some drills to do which I have found really helpful She explained everything clearly and made me feel comfortable and at ease throughout the session

Justin s knowledge was incredible
Justin s knowledge was incredible his eye for detail and his encouragement was next to none I took some sessions with Justin to improve my long distance running I m not an athlete I m a back of the pack runner with a few ultras under my belt looking to check my form and improve my speed He took all the information I gave him and created some great really engaging sessions He was very good at picking out issues in my form and telling me how to correct them if they were causing a problem It was really useful being able to tap into his wealth of knowledge from different disciplines and apply them to my own

Learnt a lot about running and my running style
Great session learning about how to run well Angela went through some good warm-ups She recorded me running and then went through some improvements recording each and playing them back each time She then went through a before and after with me running as before and with her suggestions The change was so noticeable She finally went through some stretches and cool-down techniques

Training plan
The whole inidivual training plan experience was very new to me but I have found it so helpful From the initial contact to questionnaire and telephone call Alexa listened to my goals where I was at and all my worries I had to take 2 weeks off pre plan beginning which was no problem The plan itself was really well structured a mix of length and intensity and included strength exercises which I needed to build up Looking forward to my next one when I complete this in a few weeks

Booking a running coach through We Run was one of the best decisions I made It was easy to do and I was put in touch with a coach local to me Angela was fantastic I learnt so much about how to improve my running technique We built things up week by week to improve my breathing and my posture and then worked on my fitness and speed I can t recommend Angela highly enough whether you re just starting out or want to improve We Run is a great way to connect with qualified local coaches to ensure you get the best advice and support
