Amazing school don t hesitate to enroll

Considering it s an online school I felt incredibly supported at WGU Everyone sincerely wanted to help me succeed I never felt alone or that I had to figure anything out on my own Help and support was always only a phone call or an email away and I always got incredibly quick responses no matter what time of day it was I ll forever be grateful to WGU for helping me achieve my goals

Well worth the effort

First off my entrance counselor was amazing My mentor was EXTREMELY supportive The school was just the perfect life work and education balance It is definitely worth it for the professional trying to achieve that degree It also works with entry-level students but be warned IT TAKES some work and devoted mentorship and discipline

WGU provided the type of degree plan I was looking for to fit my life As a working professional father of 3 finding an accredited school with a solid degree program while offering it as self-paced fully online was the only option for me and WGU exceeded my expectations The ability to accelerate classes was also a huge selling point and allowed me to attain my degree sooner than expected while maintaining a high level and challenging curriculum WGU is a great option for those who are self-motivated and who want to be in the drivers seat of their educational goals

WGU was a great experience With the classes being self paced it really is up to the individual to do the work and get it done For me I have been working in my career field for a while Have quite a few certs and two bachelors degree So getting my Masters was just writing or taking test about information I already knew I was able to do 6 classes in under 2 months 1 3 4 roughly 6-7 weeks This is not to say this is easy or you can pass without trying I was just at a huge advantage because I was writing papers or taking tests that correlated with my job and previous knowladge So if you are learning something new you will need to study hard But they give you a wealth of study material so you can know the information all the way through

The staff at this school are so friendly and helpful Professors my student mentor and staff from the different additional services offered to students such as the writing center are prompt with responses and truly want you to succeed The convenience of being able to work on your own time cannot be beat You are also informed of any changes or when any of your professors or your mentor will be out of the office If you have a question while they are out that cannot wait there are other staff available that will help you

I had a great experience at WGU My mentors were always willling to help me out and to check in with me They were always positive and helpful I changed my major half way through my program and both of my mentors helped me make that hard decision All of my instructors were willing to explain those things to me that I did not understand and followed up with me to make sure I was progressing

I loved the ability to work at my own pace When I began my master s degree I had already been teaching for 18 years I was able to speed up and slow down my content to match my knowledge I also really appreciated the support of both my professors and my program manager They were great at offering timely reminders and feedback helping me stay focused and productive throughout my program Their support personalized the online experience allowing me to feel connected to the university

The University was engaging and allowed me to self study without anyone pestering me about assignments The staff was very helpful when I needed resources I have always had a hard time with Algebra and I took remedial at TCC College and it was a horrid experience When I took it as WGU it was very difficult but the instructors at WGU worked with me until I understood the equations and the material thoroughly I haven t taken math in over 42 years I would recommend WGU for the stellar support I received at the college TCC by far Tarrant County College is the worst experience in my life
