WHITE PEAK DENTAL PRACTICE ASHBOURNE
I have paid into a dental care plan for a number of years each time the plan came up for renewal there was an increase the lastest increase is now payment of 156 96 for this I got two check-ups in the year any additional treatments you are charged for I went along with this and paid the cost each year The dental practice that I was with made a call to you as a reminder call to inform you of your pending appointment this worked well as during your working week etc you were not always going to remember that you had an appointment suddenly this reminder call service stopped suddenly I had gone 6 months without a dental checkup however I had no problems so I just waited for the dental practice to call to see as to why the appointment had not been kept and to arrange my next appointment this never happened after all they had my money to cover the cost of the missed appointment I contacted Practice Plan Ltd that I pay to and they told me that they simply take the money and any administration of the plan was the responsibility of the of the dental practice and with my permission they would forward my comments onto them this being White Peak Dental Practice Ashbourne now as yet I have heard nothing from White Peak Dental Practice Ashbourne as to offer any explanation as to why they have not responded or shown any customer care service I have had to cancel the Dental Plan cover of which I have paid a year s subscription and received no treatment at all I accept that there was a failed appointment but only as a result of White Peak Dental Practice Ashbourne failing in there service of making a reminder call a call to which you became reliant on of the pending appointment I will now consider possible refunding of half of my subscription for the year 2018 due to the White Peak Dental Practice Ashbourne failing in their customer services still they have shown no interest in the fact that they have failed in their customer service in my opinion any customers that are with the dental practice in Ashbourne should consider another practice that does opertae a considerate customer service it would appear that loyalty is a one way street

WHITE PEAK DENTAL PRACTICE PRACTICE PLAN LTD
so after delying tactics in replying to my emails regarding this complaint we now go to complete silence with zero response complaint being that I have gone now a full 12 months without any dental care from this pracuice of which i have paid into an insurance plan this being paid to Practice plan ltd who take your payment yet eccept no resposibility for your care white peak dental pracrtice stsed that they had not got my contact details yet some how always managed to phone me when the appointmentwas near they failed to phone so they blamed that they had not got my contact address but somehow always managed to send me the T Cs of the dental cover when it was due fori ts yearly renewal they did state that they had sent me a letter which I have not received and they once again blamed that they did not have my full postal address bearing in mind that I have been with the practice for over 10 years I dont think that they sent any letter and this was just another lame duck excuse for their mistake I have had letters with just my name and post code on the envelope and they found my address what the dental practice do not realise is that when you live in a village the postman knows most all in the village and so is able to deliver a letter with just my name and postcode I dont think the letter was ever sent so I email them yet again this time they did reply to say that the manager dealing with this complaint was on leave until the 4th June once again if this were truthful or not I can not be sure however the comments in the email indicated that she was returning back to work on the 4th June still I have heard nothing from the practice and its now 10th June so plenty of time in which to respond they offered a 50 refund on my yearly subscription this amounted to 78 48 however they have admitted that they have failed on two occasions which has left me with out dental care from them for 12 months but they dont seem to be bothered in any customer service at all but just getting your payments for a service that they did not provide it woulkd appear not that my only remaining action is to seek legal advice as to how to proceed in getting my full refund my advice would be that if you are looking for a dental care insurance plan that you do not use PRACTICE PLAN LTD who with WHITE PEAK DENTAL PRACTICE only seem to be wanting the payments made year on year SO HEED THIS WARNING GO ELSE WHERE FOR YOUR DENTAL INSURANCE COVER AND YOUR DENTAL CARE If I could have rated them ZERO I would have done BOTH PRACTICE PLAN LTD AND WHITE PEAK DENTAL CARE WILL BE HEARING FROM MT SOLICITOR

IN MY OPINION THIS PRACTICE IS MONEY
IN MY OPINION THIS PRACTICE IS MONEY DRIVEN MY MOTHER IS IN A CARE HOME IN ASHBOURNE I RECEIVED A CALL FROM THE CARE HOME ASKING IF I COULD MAKE AN APPOINTMENT WITH A DENTIST AS MY MOTHER WAS IN PAIN UNFORTUNATELY I PICKED WHITE PEAK DENTAL PRACTICE I PHONED AND MADE AN APPOINTMENT I WAS IMMEDIATELY ASKED TO PAY 90 NO QUESTIONS WERE ASKED A WEEK LATER MY MOTHER ATTENDED HER APPPOINTMENT WITH A CARER AND WAS ASKED TO PAY 45 FOR A LETTER TO BE SENT TO THE HOSPITAL FOR X-RAYS THE CARER REFUSED TO PAY AND I RECEIVED A PHONE CALL ASKING FOR 45 00 IT IS AT THIS POINT THAT ALARM BELLS STARTED RINGING AND I FOUND OUT THIS WAS FOR PRIVATE CARE I WAS NEVER TOLD MY MOTHER WAS GOING TO BE A PRIVATE PATIENT I ASSUMED SHE WAS BEING TREATED AS A NHS PATIENT WHEN I ASKED FOR A REFUND I WAS TOLD WE CANNOT SPEAK TO YOU UNTIL WE SEE POWER IOF ATTORNEY AT NO POINT WHILE I WAS GIVING MONEY DID THEY ASK TO SEE POWER OF ATTORNEY I DID PRODUCE THIS HOWEVER WHITE PEAK PRACTICE REFUSED TO REFUND AND BECAME QUITE AGGRESSIVE WITH ME MONEY DRIVEN NOT PATIENT CARE DRIVEN TAKE MY ADVISE LOOK ELSE WHERE FOR YOUR DENTAL TREATMENT

Appointed to a new Dentist at the Practice
I have been with White Peak Dental practice for around 16 17 years now and was always very comfortable with my dentist who has recently retired My teeth aren t in great shape after years of neglect previously so was a little apprehensive to meet my new dentist I needn t have worried felt completely at ease immediately with Mrs Shima Tai and was extremely grateful for the careful completion of some tricky urgent treatment So relieved that I am able to smile again without a noticeable gap which I was very conscious of Really pleased to be under the dental care of such a patient and considerate professional Just wanted to say thank you

Zahra is amazing dentist lovely person and just gets on with it never been inpain during my fillings and just overall brilliant dentist highly recommended coming to white peak 1000 good service at reception aswell very quick

I attended the Practice in an emergency
I attended the Practice in an emergency having not previously been registered as a patient I received a sympathetic and supportive response from the front of house receptionist to my request for assistance and the Principal Dentist was very accommodating in fitting me into his busy schedule on the day of my enquiry The staff I have met have been friendly and welcoming and I have confidence in joining the practice on a permanent basis
