Good Idea And there is evident to whom they want to compete Hovewer for little higher price you have much more content to view on Masterclass I m here since beta and for me I mostly missing subtitles nor English ones are mot available I wrote question about that and they said soon we plan and etc Nothing has happened during three months I also missing separate Android application login always via web interface is uncomfortable

Not loving this

Haven t found this to be even a fraction as good as Master class or any of the free assets floating around cyberspace for cooks who want to hone their skills I m sure there s some great stuff offered by your chefs but after going through Nancy Silverton s caesar salad I have been disinclined to look much further Give it another name I won t subscribe again

Its ok but very limited

Its ok but as of right now its not worth the money As someone who has a subscription to both Masterclass and YesChef Masterclass easily crushes this First off youre paying 150 for lessons from 3 world class Chefs and told others are coming eventually Masterclass is 200 offers FAR more lessons plus classes to so so many other interests and hobbies The idea behind YesChef is nice but its very limited for the money

Not great

I have MasterClass and watch a lot of Food Network so was excited about another cooking series with top chefs Unfortunately I found the quality of the few episodes available so far underproduced sloppily edited and cheaply executed in comparison to all other options out there It seems like they rushed to get some out when they weren t entirely ready to launch the program I won t be continuing my subscription

Yes chef has good customer support but

Yes chef has good customer support but that is the only positive part of this review because the content is so limited it will only take you a short weekend to watch every video This doesn t mean that the videos are high quality though because it takes more than 3 or more weeks on average to convert the videos with color correction I also haven t seen new content for 3-4 weeks

I was really disappointed with the

I was really disappointed with the portion sizes I ordered 3 meals for 2 people and o feel the amount of food was not adequate for two people Myself and my partner and both in shape and the portions were more like a started last night I made chicken skewers and noodles and it didn t even fill half my plate I am very disappointed as I was impressed with the packaging and quality of food along with great tasting food

The content is not bad but the waiting

The content is not bad but the waiting for new content is taking forever Also the mini documentary for each chef seems random clips of them cooking and talking and doesnt have a story behind it For instance watch Nancy on Netflix chef table versus yeschef On chef table it was about the journey from the begining and how she end up in Italy On yes chef looks like ramdom clips of her It got potential but is not there yet

Some very good some disappointing some bad

I d give it 5 stars for the content I ve seen as it was beautifully done But after a year not much was added Quite expensive for what you get So that takes it down a notch at least But what really took it way down for me was the auto billing which I was tricked into and then they said they would not refund And no notification of forthcoming billing so you d have an opportunity to cancel if desired Suspicious business practice

Stick with Masterclass don t waste the

I really wanted to like this program I got really excited and jumped at the Netflix Masterclass just for food Unfortunately they fell well short of delivering 1 the classes aren t actually classes It s more of a documentary where the celebrity chef talks about how much they love food and sometimes you ll watch them cook but they don t actually teach you anything The one exception would be the Edward Lee His southern style cooking class is amazing which makes the rest of the classes so much more frustrating 2 The lack of content is beyond unacceptable I ve had YesChef for almost 2 years and they ve added a whole 2 new classes Given point 1 above it became so forgettable that I actually forgot that I had a subscription to them for a while 3 They don t deliver what they promise I would love if YesChef were everything they said it would and could be but unfortunately it s not Stick with MasterClass They have more options more chefs and they do actually try to teach you something

GreatChefs A Not So Tasty Site

An exciting but limited array of chefs comprise the offering at Yes Chef so I subscribed What I have found is that 1 The lineup is increasing which is a big negative considering the signup fee 2 The material is poorly organized in terms of making the lessons easy to follow and prepare - way too much clicking from one window to another when those windows could and should in most cases be combined It s as if the web designer s mission was to look busy I canceled my reservation and was offered an extra thirty days to try it out I tried the extra time and have not found this subscription to be worth the money at this time so I have canceled again I ll check back from time to time to see how it develops but until the bench is deeper and the site is more user friendly I do not recommend the investment
