Social Media Scam Advert Warning
I like everybody else bought a Berghaus jacket from what I thought was a genuine Berghaus official online store The prices had been reduced by 90 supposedly I paid for the item on December 10th 2023 I received a tracking number which stated it would be delivered between 8-15 days It s now a month The tracking data states that the item is in the town I live in but nothing more The item was originally shipped from Chicago USA but when I email the company there are a few Chinese language characters at the start of the subject line of the emails I have contacted my bank to see where I stand and to see if I can get my money back as I paid by Debit Mastercard I am also passing the details on to the National Crime Agency as well as international trading crime agencies Meta the Facebook and Instagram owners keep returning my reports saying the adverts are not scam misleading and are genuine It s time Meta was charged with promoting illegal activity

A bad experience
On 10th December 2023 I ordered some lovely items online from what looked like Joules uk The clothing costing over 80 and was intended for my three grandchildren as part of their Christmas presents I received an acknowledgment from ziniafotec with my order listing the items and the cost then changed to dollars This looked suspicious so I sent an email asking them when the order would arrive There was a supposed tracking list of the location of the parcel listing Chicago as one of the handling places Do not buy from this company They take your money immediately from your credit card plus a currency conversion fee It is now 16th January Nothing has arrived in the past month I am not hopeful now that the goods will ever arrive I have contacted Mastercard who will now pursue the transaction as fraudulent I do hope that I get my money back I am a pensioner who has innocently fallen for a horrible scam
