Dire service Booked for 7 00pm received a what s app your taxi is arriving 1 minute later your taxi has arrived but no taxi Driver marked us no-show and returned the job to the queue must have seen a bigger fare job in the queue had to wait until 7 45 with 79 year old friend with Parkinson s and a 60 year old visually impaired But the owner doesn t care nor interested

Poor excuse for an app avoid

The driver was great but the app is awful clearly the owners don t give a damn about its development more concerned with their finances rather than the customer experience It s a waste of time pre booking as you might as well call when you arrive as they dispatch a taxi after the call no mention of that The only issue if your waiting and waiting and decide to cancel is a cancel fee that is deducted by the pre booking system I bet that works perfectly The software is clunky unrefined and clearly cheap Noda and Eastcoast used to be brilliant what a shame

My experience this afternoon was abysmal Waited over an hour and assured on several occasions that taxi was on its way Eventually operator admitted driver had gone to wrong location and hadn t reported a no show Couldn t offer another booking as no card in area As a person with severe mobility problems I was left feeling abandoned and vulnerable My taxi this morning was great and the driver Mr John Bell could not have been better However this afternoon was a disaster

Booked Dean Taxi Nearby via app App not user friendly to say the least Booking confirmed at 8 01pm driver called to say he was outside the house at 8 04pm and then had message at 8 06 pm to say booking cancelled and no show fee of 2 50 charged Rang Dean to complain but clearly not interested they claim driver waited for 5 minutes outside our house before leaving clearly not the case as we were outside waiting and never received a call other than the one for the taxi we used and only ever saw the one taxi in our street at that time Appalling customer service App doesn t work well and from previous experience have heard from several drivers they dislike customers paying via the app as customers less likely to tip I am convinced on this occasion the driver cancelled our booking then appeared and took the ride knowing the card payment would be void and he would have to be paid cash Avoid Dean taxis and Nearby - totally unscrupulous
