Bad Customer Support from Robots

I love the zoom platform but their customer support is seriously lacking Their bot Bolt does not understand anything unless it is written exactly as the topics they list After writing to support I also got very unhelpful bot-like responses and my issue was never resolved I have pending contacts in my Mac desktop zoom application and they do not disappear after 30 days neither can I delete these pending contacts Zoom support was useless and di not even take my feedback as a need to upgrade their platform I also find it really annoying that one cannot deactivate the chat in big zoom meetings it is so distracting to the eye Otherwise Zoom is a great invention Thanks

appalling service

The zoom service is really appalling I really don t understand how they failed to improve it after years of online calls and meetings under covid The service unexpectedly disconnects freezes and sometimes I even get locked out of my account Seriously if it s not up to the task just get rid off it

Zoom Phone is unreliable and there is zero support

The meeting service is general quite good The interface is simple enough The issue with their service relates specifically to their Zoom Phone To be honest it really doesn t work reliably We have consent problems with Android iOS and Windows where calls do not ring and they fail to answer I m providing a rather harsh review because Zoom doesn t seem to care much at all Even if you get to a live support agent which is a trick or itself All they do is review internal logs them claim there is no issue I m reporting this today since I have missed 4 business calls within an hour The problem has been persistent and the typical exist was COVID and high demand It s 2023 Figure it out and stop selling it until you do

Why are captions so hard

It is too hard for meeting organisers to ensure captions are turned on If they don t jump through exactly the right hoops every meeting we get stuck in a meeting where no-one has a button to turn on captioning for the deaf Our deaf colleague then leaves The only reason to restrict permissions this hard must be if zoom s computers are overworked But at our end we risk exclusion discrimination and general sadness-at-missing-out-again

Bad everything

Bad UI UXOutlook plugin needs to be updated every month for no new added featuresVideo sharing is horrible qualityAudio quality is horribleOverall frustrating software stay away dont force your employees to use this

Terrible Support center

It doesn t seem to matter what the topic but Zoom Support center is seriously lacking in actual instructions so you know where to go and what to click And if you are lucky enough to fidn the page you think you want good luck scrolling to find exactly what you are looking for Zoom could do a whole lot better on this rather than creating stupid apps that have ancient options I mean who would really wear a bar on their forehead

The software is great but their support gives them a bad reputation

The software is great their support leaves you with a bad taste in your mouth to put it lightly They re the only game in town so they can treat their customers poorly and have bad customer service policies I ve been overcharged hundreds of dollars because of hidden contracts and unresponsive cancellation requests

Constant pressure to upgrade

Long idling times to open the app on my computer It s just takes too much time to join a call or even start one The background screen or video takes forever to load The most annoying this is the constant pressure to upgrade It s ridiculous I am not a company and don t need an expensive plan I use Zoom only on occasion I am not going to upgrade There are too many other amazing free platforms out there to chose from who don t treat their customers like dollar signs Zoom was fun at first but now I just feel harassed and don t feel like a valued customer

This app should be in the year standards

The staff needs to try the updates that they are doing before releasing since not most of the people are happy with the latest Zoom updateand need to mute the mic before entering the meeting as default since I forget since I tend to forget and it s very annoying So Zoom staff please fix these issues

Poor business accounting services

For such a large company dealing predominantly with businesses I do not understand why all subscribed accounts are not payable on invoice by bank transfer I had no choice two years ago but to set up an account for the company I work for using my own debit card as I work for local government and Zoom do not produce an invoice for payment only an order advice post-payment I am leaving employment and have just learned that automatic renewal is not something you can opt out of - unless you cancel it will take the money from a linked account
