Thumbtack - found a house cleaner in 2 hours with verified reviews
Needed a house cleaner last-minute and Thumbtack matched me in 2 hours - entered zip, job size and budget, got 5 pros with Trustpilot 4.3 style verified reviews and background checks. Hired a cleaner with 4.9 stars and 120 reviews for $150 for a deep clean, booking and payment via app with guarantee. Pro arrived on time with own supplies and work was thorough. Platform takes commission so pros may quote higher than direct, but the vetting and protection are worth it for first hires.
