Review Guidelines

How to write a helpful, fair review

These guidelines keep reviews useful and trustworthy for everyone. Reviews that break them may be rejected or removed.

Do

  • Write about your own genuine experience with the company.
  • Be specific: what you bought or used, what happened, and when.
  • Keep the tone factual and civil, even if your experience was bad.
  • Edit your review if the company later resolves your problem.

Don't

  • Post fake, paid or incentivised reviews, or review a company you own, work for or compete with.
  • Post reviews written by someone else, or several reviews of the same company.
  • Include personal data about anyone (phone numbers, addresses, emails, order or card numbers).
  • Use hate speech, threats, harassment or discriminatory language.
  • Make accusations of crimes you cannot support, or post advertising or links.
  • Review a company you have never dealt with.

What happens after you submit

Your review is checked before it is published. Editing a published review sends it for checking again. You can see the status of your reviews in your profile. Read more in How RatingFacts works.
