Avoid at All Costs — Youkhanis Hermina is a Total Scam!
I honestly can't believe I fell for this. I came across Youkhanis Hermina through an Instagram ad claiming to be a proud Australian brand offering premium, breathable clothing. What I actually received was garbage—straight from Yanwen, China—and made from the cheapest polyester imaginable.
Horrible Quality: I ordered a few outfits that were advertised as high-quality, Australian-made items. What showed up looked NOTHING like the pictures. The pants were a terrible fit, the fabric felt like plastic, and the color was way off. Straight to the bin!
Misleading Advertising: The site boasts "breathable, cotton-rich fabrics," but what I got was 100% polyester. Honestly, bin bags are more breathable than these clothes. Even worse, three of the four items had their labels cut out—and the sizing? A joke. One of the “XL” sets looked like a size 6 at best.
Scammy Refund Policy: When I reached out to return the items, I got a generic email offering me a 20% refund to keep the junk. When I refused, they upped it to 30%, but still didn’t provide a legitimate return address. Classic bait-and-switch.
Long Shipping Delays: My order took over a month to arrive, and when it finally did, the clothes were not only cheap but also the wrong colors and sizes.
Fake Australian Branding: They make a big deal about being “Australian-owned,” but dig a little deeper and you’ll find that their so-called business registration only started in August 2024. The company is clearly operating out of China and just slapping on an Aussie label for credibility.
Impossible Returns: I actually attempted to return the items to the address they gave me in China, and bizarrely enough, the package came right back to me. Complete runaround.
I also ordered two pairs of what were advertised as leather sandals—they arrived looking and feeling like plastic toys. I emailed for a return, and again got the 20% refund offer, followed by 30% after I complained. I’m still waiting on a proper resolution.
After chasing them through PayPal and contacting my bank, I was finally able to claw back a partial refund. But the stress and time wasted just isn’t worth it.
