Getpenspot Review – A Cautionary Tale

I rarely write reviews, but I feel it’s important to share my experience with Getpenspot to help others avoid a costly mistake. At first glance, Getpenspot appears to be a legitimate company offering media and product services, but my experience showed otherwise. Despite never completing a purchase, Getpenspot charged my credit card unauthorized fees totaling over $150, sometimes under different company names like “Wild and Active,” which share the same ownership.

The scam works by hiding pre-checked subscription consent boxes during what looks like harmless card validation for small purchases—like renting bikes, accessing ringtones, or buying media content. Many users unknowingly opt into recurring charges that are hard to detect, with no clear confirmation or transparency. I discovered this only after multiple unexplained withdrawals from my account.

Customer support was surprisingly responsive once I reached out; a representative named Posi refunded my money and closed my account permanently. However, this doesn’t erase the fact that the business model exploits users through deceptive billing practices and cloned apps that look official but lead to Getpenspot.

If you’ve encountered suspicious charges from Getpenspot or affiliated names, act quickly: contact your bank, cancel your cards, and report the fraud. While some refunds may be granted, the company’s practices raise serious ethical concerns and harm many unsuspecting customers. Be vigilant and avoid any dealings with Getpenspot to protect your financial security.
