Useful platform but needs better seller vetting
I used Petzlover to search for a French Bulldog puppy in my area, and the experience was a mixed bag. The website itself is straightforward to navigate, with good search filters that let you narrow down by breed, location, and price range. There's a decent variety of listings for different types of pets, from puppies and kittens to more exotic animals. The ability to contact sellers directly through the platform is convenient, and most responded within a day or two.
However, I ran into some concerns about seller credibility. While I eventually found a reputable breeder, I encountered several listings that seemed questionable—vague descriptions, stock photos that looked copied from elsewhere, and sellers who were evasive when I asked about health certificates or parent lineage. Petzlover doesn't seem to have a strong verification process for breeders, which made me hesitant to proceed with some listings. I would have appreciated some kind of badge or review system to help identify trustworthy sellers more easily.
On the positive side, the puppy I did purchase through a verified breeder was healthy and exactly as described. The platform itself is free to use for buyers, which is a plus. If you're patient and willing to do your homework to vet sellers independently, Petzlover can be useful. But I'd recommend being cautious and asking plenty of questions before committing to any purchase.
