Mixed experience with service issues and overcrowding concerns

I'm giving DR Nights two stars because while the resort has some redeeming qualities, there were significant issues that prevented me from having a truly enjoyable experience. The beachfront location is stunning, and I appreciated the tropical setting and overall aesthetic of the property. The food quality was decent, with a nice variety at the buffet, and the room itself was spacious and clean. However, the service was inconsistent at best. During peak hours, it felt impossible to get staff attention, and some of my requests went unaddressed for hours. The pool area was extremely crowded, making it difficult to find a peaceful spot to relax. Additionally, I had concerns about the pricing structure certain amenities that I expected to be included in the all-inclusive package required additional fees, which felt misleading. The entertainment options were limited, and the nightly shows were repetitive. While the resort tried to create a welcoming atmosphere, the overall experience didn't justify the premium price I paid. If DR Nights improved their staffing levels, clarified their pricing transparency, and expanded their entertainment offerings, they could easily be a five-star destination. As it stands, I would recommend exploring other adult resorts in the Dominican Republic before booking here.
