Interesting Concept but Needs More Active Members
I decided to try OnlyLocalClub after seeing promising ads about meeting local singles in my area. The signup process was quick and straightforward, taking about 5 minutes to set up my profile. The platform's interface is clean and easy to navigate, which I appreciated compared to other dating apps I've used.
However, after spending about a month as a premium member, I've found the experience somewhat disappointing. The main issue is the lack of active members. I can browse profiles, but most users show login activity from weeks or months ago. When I do match with someone, responses are incredibly slow, sometimes taking days or simply not responding at all. The messaging feature works well technically, but it's hard to use when there's no engagement on the other end.
The pricing seems reasonable at first, but the limited active user base makes the subscription feel less valuable. I was hoping for better success based on their marketing claims. The app itself functions well without bugs or crashes, and I haven't had any issues with payment or account management. The profile verification system does add some legitimacy, though it doesn't guarantee active participation.
