Decent Concept but Poor Execution - Not Worth the Hype

I really wanted to like Fanplace. The idea of connecting directly with creators and getting exclusive content sounded great, but the reality has been disappointing.

The platform looks good at first glance. Navigation is smooth and finding creators is easy enough. But once you dig deeper, the issues start piling up. There are way too many inactive profiles that make it hard to find genuine creators. I'd estimate at least a third of the accounts I came across had no recent activity or engagement.

Billing is where it gets really frustrating. I signed up for a specific subscription tier, but my first statement showed charges I didn't expect. There's no clear breakdown of what you're paying for. I contacted support about it and got an automated response that didn't address anything. It took over a week to get a real person to reply.

Cancelling was also a hassle. You'd think a subscription service would have a simple cancel button, but it's buried in settings and even then it doesn't always work. I had to follow up multiple times to make sure payments stopped.

The creators I did follow were good, I'll give them that. The content quality from active accounts is decent. But the platform itself feels like it's cutting corners on everything that matters - transparency, support, and user experience.

I'd say proceed with caution. If you really want to support specific creators, it might work for you, but don't expect a premium experience. There are better platforms out there that actually value their users.
