Credit where due, BetBlocker does block betting apps and sites effectively, and the mission behind it matters. In practice though, my phone battery drained twice as fast while it ran, several legitimate finance apps stopped loading until I excluded them manually, and removing the tool during a self-imposed break requires waiting out a cooldown period by design. Useful concept, punishing execution. Consider device-specific alternatives first.
