Dreaming of Papa Pal Partnerships

I fell in love with community care and health coaching while I was in college studying community care as part of my public health degree I noticed what a huge impact home care and companionship could make on patient health outcomes and became really invested into looking into what options my patients had that I could refer them to After graduating I really wanted a way to stay involved with community care and I found Papa It has been wonderful and my patients have been a delight The app is easy to use and the representatives are really friendly and helpful I would like to see Papa Pals in the future incorporate a care team with a nurse and a social worker like other community care programs or maybe partner with local hospital community care programs like Advent Health There are many times in my own patient experiences that collaboration would be monumental in our patient s care As pal s we have the advantage of learning patient history that nurses and social workers would really benefit from about needs and symptoms I think if there was a closer connection between pals and the rest of the care team we would be able to better assist patients and achieve better prevention strategies I would recommend this job to anyone who is interested in the healthcare field or going through college in a health track who needs a flexible work schedule You do need a vehicle and should expect alot of driving if you live in a smaller town to find roles I have so much fun with my patients sometimes we go shopping sometimes I help with basic wound care sometimes we make lunch together and other times we do a full clean of the house This job has been a blessing and I have been able to meet some incredible people
