They do not help seniors

They do not help seniors Look at our drug and supplemental insurance costs The constant barrage of junk mail is unconscionable I have asked them in writing to stop sending junk mail yet it continues They work under the guise of being non-profit I find that hard to believe That claim should be investigated

Atrociously bad spam generator

Atrociously bad organisation Of absolutely no value They never ever sent us membership cards and repeated requests to do so met with silence This organisation or should that be disorganisation exists for only one reason - the generation of unbelievable amounts of spam messages Within a few weeks I labelled all messages from AARP as spam where they have gone for the last year unseen If you are an advertiser or partner I m pretty sure this is something you would want to know A totally pointless orgnisation that s now asking me to renew - I cleverly avoided auto-renewal by giving a card number that would expire within the year of membership Avoid avoid avoid

BEWARE THEY TAKE OUT OF YOUR ACCT EVEN AFTER CANCELLATION

Hello this is the 2nd year I cancel my membership renewal and keep getting charged I am very disappointed with AARP Last year I let it go because I thought it was my mistake This year I took a screenshot of the membership cancellation and I still got charged Be careful ladies and gentlemen Make sure to double check your bank accounts because AARP seems to take money out of your account without your consent

I agree with the customer service terrible travel customer service

I agree with the customer service aspect as we bought a RT trip Florida vacation package with a 50 dollar VISA reward card to come back to us The 50 dollar card never came back and they never ever returned an email or phone call on it Do not depend on them go elsewhere

Tell AARP to Stop Mailing Useless Renewal Solicitations

The aggressive marketing mail to sign up for auto renewal is so excessive When you renew they should say thank you not continue to send mail to lock down auto renewals And they waste your money mailing all that Also found out online that AARP gets paid by United Health Care almost 5 of my monthly insurance premiums

AARP does not listen to their clients

AARP does not listen to their clients I told them that I have a new cell phone and their over-active security will not let me log in without messaging my old cell number which I have no access to They refuse to do one thing about the real problem - the website should offer an alternative to those who have changed cell phones When you call them they say that after five business days their escalations team will have had time to try to get you the ability to log in Meanwhile they will do nothing about the problem that this happens to every senior who changes t heir cell number

A Total Useless Organization

It should be known that AARP and UnitedHealthCare are one and the same company They promote each other and this is misleading Furthermore all other programs AARP supports - through reward programs life insurance medications prescriptions etc are all producing prices ABOVE market value Since they cater to seniors - some of them not so internet savvy - are made to believe this organization is covering theirbacks Seniors are mislead to believe they can trust big AARP to present them with the best deals without having to do price checking Nothing is further from the truth It s membership is totally useless except if you have money to waste
