As the previous review states from another person Don t click on get a quote you will only waste your time giving all your details to be told we could not process your quote ring and 1890272727 when you do you get cut off to ring again The outcome we cant process your quote you need to manually fill out a form Complete Scam Really the only thing you get is caught for 2 premium rate calls Stay Away best going through a broker less time consuming

This is purely regarding AIG Car Hire Excess Insurance In 2023 when in Greece my rental broke down and car was towed away I got a replacement but had to pay some expenses and mechanical fee because according to car hire company car broke down because of me and after couple of months I was provided with a statement from a mechanic Unfortunately Aleksandar from AIG who is not a mechanic has stated that car broke down due to a mechanical element and I will not be reimbursed for extra expenses AIG take note - you have lost a customer of many years car insurance in Ireland and car hire excess and some of my friends have steered away from you after that incident Judging by the treatment I received you don t care about your customers Everyone who thinks about buying service from AIG - STAY AWAY FROM THEM

Not helpful I am a third party in an accident not my fault and aig won t pay the full amount to get my car fixed 200 in the difference between audi garage and a back end garage which they recommend not audi parts unbeatable audi can fix it in 2 weeks the other garage 6 to 8 weeks so the rental can they are paying is going to cost more Madness why to we pay some people are probably right not paying for insurance this is the way they do business Joke

Just thought I d share a really terrifying thing that happened to myself and my friend yesterday we were travelling from dunlaoghaire to connemara with 5 dogs at the kilcock toll my car practically took off at speed the smoke and flames at the back i couldn t stop the car something to do with the turbo eventually i managed to get control and pull in engine dead terrifying enough but then trying to get assistance through my insurance AIG was like pulling teeth there was zero compassion or concern bearing in mind this was rush hour traffic just after 5oc on the M4 following an extremely frustrating and unhelpful conversation with the supposedly rescue support I had to call the gardai and wonderful friends and not forgetting the lovely tow guy two garda cars came with 4 of the kindest gardai they said they couldn t leave us where we were as it was so dangerous and took the two of us and our 5 dogs in the 2 cars to johnstown bridge we were blown away by their kindness then my amazing friends arrived with 2 cars to rescue us the tow guy then arrived after collecting the car to let us get everything out we want to thank the best friends in the world the 4 gardai for being so wonderful and joe the lovely car recovery guy we Do Not want to thank AIG they need to teach their staff some compassion and actually how to listen to people who are obviously going to be distressed if they re calling for rescue not to suggest that we get public transport or a taxi Absolutely disgusted train your staff will never use AIG again

I will not renew with this company next year I had to transfer my insurance to a courtesy car due to a garage fault repair so far they ve taken 150 to transfer RIP off Ireland at its best Out of hours breakdown service staff are extremely rude and unhelpful basically called me a liar Never again

Recieved my car insurance renewal which had increased for no reason I looked online and if I signed up as a new customer with aig I would get it cheaper I thought dual pricing for new and existing customers was banned now When i spoke to the agent on the phone he couldn t explain why i was being quoted 2 different prices as an existing and new customer Will be making a complaint to the insurance ombudsman but won t be renewing with them as much cheaper elsewhere Obviously don t want repeat custom

I make first time quote for my 1 8 petrol Honda in this company driving for 14 years in Ireland and yet after shooking outcome of 2100 The customer service representative tell me this is great price I think this company is rip off the guy spoke to me over the phone says this is normal when I m getting other insurance quotes for 600 comprehensive Good luck Aig for making me feel like a new driver again I did not pay that price actually for the very first insurancd Oh and I never have any claims also hahaha bad company

I would give a minus star if I could Had a recent claim which has taken weeks to sort out and still not done Customer service dreadful on hold for hour and half to speak to an agent and they had no idea what they were doing I will never insure with aig again I am 35 years driving and have never had claim the whole process is very stressful and not helped when you are dealing with such an incompetent company never ever again

Hi we have AIG Home Insurance and had an emergency roof leak I contacted Emergency home assistance where we were told - Can t find you on the system so can t help Are you sure it s not Allianz that your insurance is with I m shocked and scrambling to get emergency help on my own now Customer Service for AIG doesn t open until Monday Btw I have letters to confirm my home insurance which starts with Thank you for Renewing your policy with AIG It is our aim to provide you with great products at great prices with a market leading service Your cover operates for 12 months from 28 09 2024 and the policy number is AUH I have receipt of payment too I will be making a formal complaint
