We purchased Katie Blake chairs from Glencrest Delivery was delayed significantly but we were not advised We had paid for white glove delivery and thought this included assembly but delivery guys advised that it did not and that they had had numerous similar complaints re GLENCREST After complaining I was handed on to Jack who introduced himself as the GLENCREST chairman He failed to see my point that other customers were also complaining about the delivery and even though I was simply making my points in a civil manner he put the phone down on me telling me I was an A hole and that he can t stand people like me AVOID THIS COMPANY IF YOU CAN they have no concept of good customer service

Terrible customer care

We ordered a sandringham corner sofa with fire pit Via Glencrest 13 weeks ago We were told it would be 6 weeks Initially we gave them the benefit Of the doubt with delays however the Only updates given are when we chase Finally told last week after I phoned them that it had arrived and would be delivered today Have taken day off work to receive delivery Have just called to check it s Definitely coming to be told that it isn t and will now be Thursday So disappointed My advice would be to avoid this company at all costs

Extremely disappointed at the issues

Extremely disappointed at the issues regarding delivery of my order of balcony set I phoned to enquire when the order was being delivered I was advised that the order would not be delivered to the door of apartment even though there is a lift Was advised it would be left in a pallet on the street We are in our seventies and could not possibly physically lift the order to our apartment from the outside of the building How crazy is this Anything else I have ordered from companies since moving into our new build apartment has been carried out without any problems I had to cancel the order because of this practice All I can say is please change your carrier as you just lost one of many possible orders So so disappointed

Zero after sales service

Zero after sales service They say office hours are from 8 30 til 5 30 They haven t answered the phone once in the weeks we have been ringing and leaving voice messages No response to any emails either after the initial complaint which got an immediate response saying they would swap the damaged chair Great shame the furniture is lovely but one chair arrived with bent leg one cushion without a button and the umbrella will not tilt It really shouldn t be so difficult and stressful to contact someone to resolve the issue Awaiting a response since delivery on August 20th

Scam

This is one of those firms I believe that buy in seconds from good manufacturers they can then sell on a cheap prices Unfortunately the customer ends up with a reject item hence them being non contactable after purchase This happened to us 1000 for garden furniture that arrived broken They are very professional scammers After your initial complaint they promise you a replacement or return then after that nothing Look on the web they are very clever in hiding their identity Even Companies House web site gives very little information I managed to trace their ware house and it s empty and up for rent

Rusty gazebo

I bought a gazebo from them Delivery and timing no problem When unpacking gazebo we realized some parts were rusty They delived replacement after nearly a month The parts delivered were rusty again and they were not new From there nothing Do not trust or buy from this company I lost 360 as we have a faulty gazebo and the company have disappeared No response from emails or phone calls
