My FIRST ORDER and my LAST ORDER with AMAIN COM
I made a first time purchase from Amain com on November 10 2019 I purchased a item that the website clearly had and currently has INSTOCK noted on the website Let me add that this item was a 429 00 item with a shipping cost of 157 99 so basically I had 600 00 into this transaction as a new customer A full 7 days passed and I was becoming somewhat concerned I just had a bad feeling about it so I sent 2 messages inquiring about the status of the order via their website Those requests was never answered The next day I decided to call Amain for a update and some direction on the order I sat on hold for 20 minutes then the line goes dead I then notice the chat box on the website so I am running out of options for simple contact with Amain com I used the chat box to try to communicate that way I was connected with someone by the name of ERIC and I simply asked about the order ERIC was very slow to respond I found myself on this chat for nearly 30 minutes with no answers at all to my inquiry ERIC would literally type a couple of words then vanish for 10 minutes it was terrible customer service ERIC then begins to tell me that they Amain was waiting on the item to come in to my surprise I said wow the website said and still says that the item was instock ERIC after more pauses and delays finally says that they have 2 warehouses and the item was in stock at one but not the other That made absolutely no sense to me Either the item is instock like the website falsely says or its not in stock as a customer why does a warehouse matter to me You have something listed as instock then that creates more people buying the item because it is instock and ready to ship right Well ERIC was not overly friendly he had no true answer to the problem barely spoke in the chat was not sympathetic to a customer left waiting on a item that they do not even have and just didn t really care and should not be in any customer service position at all After sitting on this so called chat for over 30 minutes with this kid ERIC I had had enough He didn t make any sense and didn t seem to care one way or the other No customer should have to reach out to a company 4 times in 2 days while using 3 different methods to get a 600 00 order update of some kind TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE I would NOT spend a penny at AMAIN COM They lie on their website about items being in stock they are nearly impossible to contact and their employees are lousy at customer service I order a lot online every single year and I mean A LOT I spend thousands of dollars a year on my hobby alone I have experienced good service and AMAIN COM had a fair chance and completely blew it in every direction Do NOT spend your money with AMAIN COM whether it be at their store in California or online Take your money to a hobby shop that appreciates your business and bends over backwards to deliver good customer service Never again will I order from AMAIN COM and unfortunately for AMAIN I am a active member of several online hobby forums where we share knowledge I do not just share good customer service with the internet but I also share horrible customer service and spread it to anyone and everyone to save them from dealing with a company that does not appreciate their customers Hobby shops online are a dime a dozen and there are good ones out there but NOT AMAIN COM I told ERIC to Cancel the order and he happily did with out another word said he had said so little to begin with I was not a bit surprised

I will never buy from these people
I will never buy from these people again I paid over 500 for a Traxxas Revo It has now quit after one week I got told by customer service that it was not their problem They said I had to take it up with Traxxas They would look at it and let me know what was wrong The return shipping and repairs were at my cost After only one week I guess 500 for a weeks use is a good deal to them I had a minor issue with a Saito engine a few years back A simple fix but they sent a whole new engine and I had it in 2 days They even arranged for pickup of the other engine I guess that s the difference between Japanese companies and American The Japanese take care of their customers and American companies don t

New Customers don t mean anything
I ordered a high demand RC ESC back in March First two weeks ago I get an email stating it was still on backorder would I like to keep the order going I emailed and asked how far down the list I am They tell me 22 So I agreed to keep the order and wait I emailed today and get told I have been bumped down the list to 75 because I haven t purchased 3000 00 not a premier customer worth of product from them that makes me an ordinary customer and they put their priority customers ahead in line no matter what May I suggest that on a high demand new released product you put back orders out as they are ordered I m strongly disappointed to be told that my money is important and you take it hold it for a preorder but my being a customer is not as important as another because I m new to the hobby and will continue to be less important until I give you 3000 00 What a way to make new customers feel like crap This was told to me directly from the customer service rep in California

This place like other have said is horrible thru and thru ordered a 600 vehicle said would be in stock in 10 days 100 days later still not in stock even though website said it would be then get an email stating that they weren t getting that product it had been discontinued and that if I still wanted with an upgrade for another 50 then 2 says later there website is still taking orders for a product they know they aren t getting that s fraud I bring it to there attention and they put my order under review so hobby town contacts me and says they got the infraction in so I cancelled my order and am happy now been driving it for a week amain still hasn t gotten them in and won t for over 2 weeks at the soonest this place is a joke and scammers don t give them a dime you WILL regret it

I agree with NM I ordered Byron Originals AERO Gen2 15 Premium 18 Fuel Four Gallons the website clearly stated In Stock Online Usually ships in 24 hours NO not 24 hours I wait for a week with no shipping confirm from Amain Hobbies then I called them to ask about shipping confirm no one answer the phone call got one of them from chat box on website after waiting around 30-35 mins then they asked for order number then simply reply they do not have item in stock to ship out I am guessing they take customer then turn around order from supplier then ship to buyer BAD BAD BAD that how they make and they don t have to stock the merchandise

My buggy came in damaged It was labeled as brand new but clearly its not The remote is damaged and the buggy looks to have been dropped with the front right wheel is pointed to the right whole the left wheel is straight WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THIS COMANY AGAIN No help form them other than to return it and reorder it

You guys always give a delivery date Bad times
You guys always give a delivery date that turns out to be false You Then Email new delivery dates which are also false The product ends up getting there 2 to 3 weeks late And your prices are higher than the competitors Find it impossible to redeem my points for anything useful Had an account for over a year No improvement
