We submitted everything that was asked of us in a timely manner however our processor asked us many things within 5 days of closing We were the ones that had to call for updates and ask what was missing This made things very stressful and rushed Once we got a new processor everything was more inline and communication was better Otherwise our loan consultant and our real estate agent were the best and most helpful people ever This would have been a 5 star review if not for the processor

Rate good The process took a long time Loan officer promised certain things and did not follow through We threatened to not take the loan He asked his manager and low and behold promise materialized With this sort of experience we have a loss of trust with your company The only reason we wrote with you is it was ready to close

Refinancing in a Pandemic
Keeping in mind we chose to refinance in the midst of a Pandemic This was our 4th time with American Financing and the agent they assigned us to was very slow to follow up and difficult to get in touch with I finally requested a different one who wasn t that much better The processor and the notary were great I ll probably still use them again but this time was not great

The company American financing assisted in my refinancing every way they could However John Hazel could have explained verbally what changes were being made to our initial agreement Could have at least discussed variius options Felt a lack of Transparency

Horrible customer service
We have worked with them multiple times over the past few years going through American Freight Never had an issue We moved back to GA needed bedroom furniture a washer dryer set When trying to complete the paperwork via the store computer it froze According to store personnel this happens every day so they have to call complete with a rep We were under the impression our payments were the monthly amt we would pay biweekly This made sense since our previous payments were approximately 60-85 biweekly come to find out they wanted 263 biweekly which is over our budget When I tried to call for assistance they were unwilling to help just kept referring me to the contract I advised them according to the contract this was for a 6mo payout They argued this is for 24 months Someone s math is way off because that would result in 4xs the amount Even with interest that was an exuberant rate I asked for a sup was told there were none I said fine I ll send it all back since no one wants to help They miraculously found another sup supposedly Operations manager who said she could remove the liability but that would only drop it 20 Apparently being a long time customer work NO issues until now means nothing to this company I will be going elsewhere
