Mixed messaging
For available services I d say AMTA provides as much if not more than other organizations In relation to support for needs of the industry this is a mixed bag AMTA has positioned themselves with private companies and supported legal and other processes that I believe undermine the industry as a whole not a pigeonholed aspect of massage- a good example is the bill for a new bodyworker board in Massachusetts The language chosen to support the bill and present it were poorly done This was my first hand experience while at a chapter meeting where we spoke to the organizations representative on the matter There s more if you d like to discuss it Thank you
