Tried to get through several times but

Tried to get through several times but someone left my file open and the new operator couldn t open it Ended up paying online Annoying that they won t send my policy in the post and I have to print it off myself Its fine if you have easy access to a printer but not everyone does An post want zero interaction with its customers

I had my insurance last year with ye and went in as a new customer this year as it was cheaper I ended up getting 2 insurance discs with 2 different policy numbers I rang last week to inform you but today money came out again for another deposit for this year despite having paid a deposit last month While everyone has been helpful when I ring but I would have assumed when I took out a new policy the old one should have been cancelled Regards Ita

Alot more must be done to stop the cartels in the insurance industry in Ireland Ireland is in the e u and all car insurance must be the same as in other European countriesI believe that the human is not even given any insurance it is the car A vehicle is not human Also the disgraceful state of roads in co cork are in need of a full audit and must be replaced In summery the standards of insurance in Ireland are not best practice and are operating outside of company law

Would not pay out due to no photos never told us to take any when we rang

We had a burst pipe over the ceiling informed yourselves got the work done ceiling replaced and plumbing replaced got back in touch with the yourselves and was informed after I paid for the work I should have taken photographsHad I been told this I would have taken photographs or the two contractors I engaged would have Very disappointing keith

Pays to be new but not loyal

Got my renewal quote which was on par with last years premium After shopping around online was finding that cover was much cheaper elsewhere for similar if not more benefits Decided to see what An Post would quote online just out of interest Quote was 200 euro less than renewal Pays to be a new customer but not a loyal customer Took out that policy so happy with that but not happy with the renewal process Plus was still receiving messages about renewing after I incepted the new policy Price walking needs to be addressed

Disappointing experience from a usually better than average insurance company wait time on phone s has increased significantly every time I tried to get through on successive days was told high volume of calls perhaps get more staff The quote was much higher again than previous years despite no claims ever I have had to ring 3 tomes to get s receipt think may not bother with them next year

I made enquiries about home insurance

I made enquiries about home insurance for my apartment through several companies last year I opted for An Post not because of cost I was so impressed with the professional and friendly attitude I received that I did not hesitate My confidence has been affirmed since with regular contact and reminders etc I recommend An Post to family and friends

I would have given the overall process

I would have given the overall process a higher score in fairness except for 1 issue I have been a customer of An Post insurance for many years But this year despite being a loyal and regular customer I had to cancel my policy and reopen as a new customer as the discount provided to new customers was much more substantial than that offered to existing customers who want to renew I would hope that next year I will not need to repeat that process

Irritation

The whome process of acquiring car insurance was very difficult involving several phone calls Although the staff were courteous there was a lot of ambiguity Also I received identical insurance details in 3 different envelopes on the same day Bad management

Need to update their cancellation procedure

Insurance itself was fine with price and what they offered but I tried to cancel to convert to commercial and they are stuck in the past they don t cancel over the phone they post a form out to you to sign and post back which means I won t be able to drive for the time it takes for all that postage
