Nobody will help you with questions or concerns

I really didn t want to give them one star My daughter has been attending Ashworth for almost a year and a half now while enrolled in their vet tech program It has been one problem after the next-tons of wasted time They do not send or respond to emails in a timely manner nor send paperwork that is needed to complete tasks for clinicals No phone numbers to actually speak with anyone Just this week my daughter will not receive credit for her clinicals that she drove 2 hours a day to complete due to the fact that the clinic s eye-wash procedure does not meet Ashworth standards although it meets NC state standards This should have been addressed before clinicals started and not at the END Money and time wasted I would never recommend Ashworth to anyone Sadly they are a JOKE

I went to Ashworth College 4 yrs ago

I have taken a class with Ashworth previously and enjoyed the set up I enrolled for another set of classes after completion of my first degree I did not like th e way the new classes was set up so i stopped attending after about 1 or two months in the course However even with seeing i did not complete the course Ashworth is still charging me for the entire course as if I completed it I don t feel that it is right and I should only be obligated to pay only what I have taken

Interior decorating

I went to Ashworth College 4 yrs ago I wanted to see what an online college was like and I realized it was not for me I like being around people The college sent me two of the same sets of books When I called to see how to send them back to the college they said they were mine and they would not take them back someone goofed up I finished the medical assistant course in 9 months I think it s better to go to a vocational college or a 4yr school

i found with a few exceptions the

The materials for the course were antiquated not to the extreme of uselessness but to the extent that I am not competitive with someone who took an updated course elsewhere Also occassionally when I did have a question I NEVER was able to speak with a professor instead I was always routed to a student who often knew less than I did A very frustrating experience and I did not get what was advertised Prelude to a real school

Ashworth Professional Gunsmithing Program

i found with a few exceptions the customer service was inadequate and the procedure for grading paper completely incompetent Example a paper graded as failing when the same identical was resubmitted was graded as passing I appeared to me that some of your graders really were not interested in what they were doing while a very few were extremely professional in their conduct would not recommend Ashworth College

not an accredited school

I feel that for the knowledge gained my money would have been better spent on a few good gunsmithing books and tools and an old gun or two to tinker with Course material was photocopied excerpts from a textbook that was not supplied Tools supplied were one set of screwdrivers and a set of punches - good quality If you want to go into business as a gunsmith go to a real gunsmithing school

Words Can t Explain It

My bachelor s program in criminal justice was easy breezy The customer support was always available and my assignments were always graded in a timely manner I didn t start experiencing nightmares until I enrolled in the Masters Program and saw first- hand just how unethical people in this school could be when it comes to resolving issues In 2018 after completing my bachelor s degree and paying off my tuition balance ensuring I had a balance of 0 on the books I immediately registered in the Masters program on a Wednesday night because I wanted to keep my study habits going I paid the first semester s tuition in full but when I went to log into my classes I was locked out I had that statement that said to contact the school I immediately contacted the student support team that was so helpful during my bachelor s degree and now the same people became the helpless desk They had no POC or a telephone for anyone within the Masters program I was told I had to submit an email to an alias and wait for someone to respond back to my concerns regarding logging into my course I sent the email late Wednesday night and waited until Saturday morning and no one responded Saturday at noon I contacted the helpless desk and told them I wanted to drop my Master s course It was then I was told my classes were blocked and that the tuition I just paid on Wednesday night was owed to the school Apparently I had an outstanding balance I asked how was that possible when I didn t have a balance with the school I received no logical answers I demanded to drop my course but I encounter road blocks filled with unanswered questions and NO one to give me answers It took me nearly two weeks to resolve a problem Ashworth created They wanted to keep my tuition down payment without any valid explanation Going into the second week of resolving this matter I received a threatening email from the school stating that it had made numerous attempts to receive payments from me and now my information was being forwarded to a debt collector Again how was that possible when 1 I had balance of 0 when I complete my bachelors I print screened it to show my calendar date and time and 2 I had a balance of 0 when I initially started the Master s program and dropped it 3 years prior I had the print screen of that the bank statement showing the refund from Ashworth SO now all of a sudden I owed the school nearly two thousand dollars on a 0 balance account And the person that sent the threatening email provided no proof documentations copies of previous letters making attempts to collect debts etc of me owing It was just a nasty mean filled with lies letter that was threatening to destroy my credit if I didn t pay I got all the names and statements of the people I was interacting with because I was constantly being passed around from one helpless helper to another I had enough Just when I was in the process of seeking legal assistance from my company I contacted Ashworth from my company s legal office and I told the woman that answered what I was in the process of doing and this kind woman said she would assist me She looked into the system and saw there was an error She balanced it out and refunded me my money My issue was finally resolved and I was reimbursed but the measures this school took to take money from me and then turn around and threaten me by sending my information to a debt collector made me NEVER want to take another class with this school even if it was the last school on earth that I could afford Unethical practices that NO one should go through especially when you know you did your part by paying your tuition off in advance before completing your program Never Again

I signed up for the landscaping design

I signed up for the landscaping design course in two months I got my first book delivered and after about five months waiting for the material to use to do the drawings that I needed to do I decided to drop the course For which they decided to charge me money to get out of the course I had thought about talking to a lawyer but not paying the difference being that they did not live up to their part of the agreement I personally think it s not fair if you don t comply with your agreement and send them at Rio what good is that design for us without the proper equipment I did take another course and graduated and heating and cooling I got all my material on time at the books that I used to do the work I graduated with honors so I decided to take the design course I would not recommend of a fishes with how they act and how many people did they let down because they couldn t get the supplies and that still have to pay money to get out of

Locksmith Course - Repackaged Penn Foster Class

I signed up for the locksmith certification course Jan 25 The price was good but here s the deal This is a canned class that originated at Penn Foster I know this because my brother signed up with them and we compared the curriculum There are no instructors or students to my knowledge as I ve posted on the boards and have only just seen the first person post in weeks The text is riddled with typos and even some plain wrong information ie they show a picture of a half diamond pick and called it a key extractor I m 45 done with the course already and have yet to receive any tools to finish my final from my first two sections My recommendation is to spend the extra money on a course taught by an actual locksmith This is my fault for trying to save a buck lesson learned I ll probably have my license before this course even lets me finish Let me see if I can say something positive You will learn some things though some of the knowledge is outdated for modern locksmiths and after talking with another locksmith it will not help you pass the ALOA exam Good luck go somewhere else I m stuck as I paid in full -
