This company thinks you should pay for their losses
I placed a large order on 3rd October not everything was in stock but I was told the whole order could be delivered between the 13 15th of November The dates came and went without delivery card saying delivery had been attempted or attempt to arrange delivery Here are extracts from AZ Boutiques replies to my enquires about my order and a refund They The courier Hermes only sent us this proof to say that you were not present Please note that unfortunately these are the risk of ordering online We may never know what happens to our parcel on their way We cannot control the way the carrier proceeds If they did not leave any card then unfortunately this is not upon our responsibility As you saw in the screenshot we sent you they claimed they attempted delivery The carrier is not being incompetent This is their normal process they might encounter delay in their deliveries but they will surely deliver the items The carrier confirmed to us that the parcel is being returned to us Hence we are only waiting to get the parcel back first in order to refund you We regret to tell you that it is impossible for us to refund you without getting the parcel back They do have your parcel but as we told you earlier they do not prioritised returning parcel and that is why it can take up to one month to reach France We choose not to refund you as this is our company s policy We have to ensure that we receive the parcel Back As per the carrier the parcel is being returned as you were not present during the delivery Unfortunately we cannot take the risk in refunding you and then later on we do not receive the parcel AZ Boutique is clearly of the opinion that the customer should bare the risks of ordering online from AZ Boutique fortunately I paid by PayPal and PayPal does not seem to share AZ Boutiques opinion PayPal refunded my AZ Boutique payment a few days after I asked them to Thank you PayPal Phew Most reviews of AZ Boutique seem very positive maybe I was unlucky But why take the risk of shopping with a company who s stated policy is that the customer loose out when they mess-up

Zero is too high of a score
I ve given it a one-star as it s not possible to give a zero I would not recommend this company to anyone I made a rather large order of jars a couple of weeks ago it was delivered but to the completely wrong address The photographic evidence provided by their courier had proved the parcel left in front of the wrong door When I contacted az-boutique saying that I did not receive my parcel they weren t helpful we would have to find this address ourselves Luckily the neighbours at the wrong address bought it over a few days later Upon receiving the box I noticed that it was rather damaged and upon opening I noticed that some of the jars were shattered I provided photographs and asked for a replacement of the damaged jars which they refused They said I should have arranged the broken jars more clearly when providing images of the damages making sure to group the broken jars together This is a ridiculous request by the point of sending the images I d already disposed of the broken jars the customer services agent was expecting me to get the broken jars from the trash to re-prove the amount of broken jar amount that I d stated They are completely refusing to provide a refund or a replacement They are expecting customers to pay for the companies mistakes This is ridiculous

Useless wall mounted corkscrew unit
I purchased their wall mounted corkscrew unit It transpired that you have to physically hold the bottle up to the unit i e the unit does not hold the bottle in place In consequence rather than the corkscrew entering the cork as the handle of the unit is pulled down - all it does is mangle the cork They told me I must be using it incorrectly but failed to clarify how I might be doing that I said the unit was not fit fit purpose and they sent me a returns labelI did not receive a refund until after I had told them that I would involve my credit card company if necessary They have just made a refund but have still charged postage I have purchased a replacement from a different supplier which works flawlessly The corkscrew offered by AZ-boutique is not fit for purpose There is no way I will ever buy from this supplier in the future as their customer service is significantly flawed

I would advise people not to purchase from these people if the product you purchase on does not suit its purpose and you change your mind and decide to return the item they will give you a UK return address then when you contact AZ-boutique co uk they will then contact you saying the item has not been returned to FRANCE this is not the return address that you are given to return the item to FRANCE DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY it maybe a scam I don t know but when you write to them and ask for a return address and that return address is in the UK then you send it via Royal Mail signed for then you make enquiries with regards to your refund they reply the item has not arrived back in FRANCE yet so your unable to get your refund my advice would be NO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY

Where do I even begin with this awful company
Where do I even begin with this company As a small business owner I have learnt so much from this company exactly how NOT to run a business and treat customers They have put my entire livelihood at risk so many times by guaranteeing a delivery date and then simply changing the date to a week or two in the future several days after the order should have been delivered They have no empathy or customer service skills The agents are rude dismissive and blame you the customer or their supplier Never taking repsonsibilty themselves While delays can happen they do not make this clear and take your money without letting you know they don t actually have the goods in stock Then they will just not update you and then you discover the order is actually not coming for another 2 weeks This happens every single time is just ridiculous I have finally learnt my lesson and found a new supplier that actually cares and is honest and transparent Really disappointing and am just shocked this company is still in business with this way of dealing with people

Horrendous and rude customer service - terrible company
Horrendous and rude customer service Expect that if they make a mistake they will blame their supplier they will blame you and they will try to profit from their error I would look elsewhere as this company is ethically and morally bankrupt and they deserve to go financially bankrupt also

Difficulty getting refund
I ordered some cutlery from this company it arrived quickly but I had to return it as it was not what I wanted my error not theirs however it s now over 6 weeks since they received the returned goods and I am still chasing for a refund Not impressed with post sales service Update Refund was received eventually and I am happy with the items I kept Shame it took so long to process a return

The website wasn t so new so I was worried but everything went very well Shipping from France to Japan was very fast less than a week and my order was processed quickly On arrival I inspected the packaging and everything looked well protected but when I opened it one out of the 12 glasses had a crack in the base I contacted customer support and within 24 hours they responded to me and offered to refund the cost of that glass Good communication and overall satisfactory service
