Yes the customer service wasn t the best experience however not all of the agents are the same I spoke to 3 different agents all of them didn t help solve my query however upon the 4th attempt I got through to an agent called Lisa - wonderful lady who helped answer my queries and get me back into my account without any delays The app needs work but thank you Lisa

Choosing the right option will enable you to receive monthly Cashback of 0 25 though there are better alternatives but one advantage is the excellent currency exchange rates with no additional fees The only irritating issue is after opting for paperless statements to receive an email 03 15 to advise the statement is now available to view online Using the app or online the monthly statement is not visible In response to an online chat I was advised that The statement has generated on 5th and it takes 2 working days to show up the statement Please wait till today and it will be there on the app 12 hours later and it is still not visible I appreciate this is not life threatening but why advise something is available when it is evidently not

I was issued a card from Barclaycard and a few days later I notice some questionable searches on my credit file To be safe I wrote to all the companies involved and put a CIFAS record on my account to ensure no further applications could be made It seems that Barclaycard took it upon themselves to block my card with no notice at all If I had been someone vulnerable with this as my only means of payment I wouldn t have been able to do anything I appreciate there are processes but to ensure the customer is informed and considered I would have thought would be the minimum they could do Although the method wasnt good I can now understand why so have increase rating based on the customer service rec d afterwards

I ve been using Barclaycard for a while now and my experience has been a bit of a mixed bag On the positive side the credit card itself has proven to be reliable and I appreciate the 0 25 cashback on purchases While the cashback percentage may be on the lower side it s still a nice perk that adds up over time and something is always better than nothing One of the standout features for me is the no-charge currency conversion It s a significant advantage for those who frequently travel or make international transactions The absence of foreign transaction fees is a definite plus and sets Barclaycard apart from some competitors However where the experience falls short is with the accompanying mobile app I find it a bit annoying to navigate and not as user-friendly as I d like Smooth and intuitive app functionality is crucial for managing finances efficiently and this is an area where Barclaycard could improve to enhance the overall customer experience

I changed to Barclaycard Rewards after Jaja told me they are closing my account apparently part of a major review affecting many customers I find obtaining the card very easy and have used it a number of times using the website to pay a statement recently I will soon be trying it out abroad on holiday So far would recommend particularly as an alternative to Jaja

I ve had a credit card with them for four years The limit started off at 150 and this has gradually increased to 3k as I pay it off every month The functionality of the self serve in the app and online is fantastic meaning I never have to call them I also like the rewards and cashback aspects of my card My only critique would be that they are yet to offer me a credit card with a better rate which I feel is due

Even tho I can t log in to the credit card app I just send money through my Barclays Bank and it s ok for credit card Needs more moderation and customer rewards

App is easy and simple to use This company offered me credit basically a lifeline when no other company would touch me and I ve had no issues with them Spoke to the lovely Hannah from Barclaycard today who was able to help me very well once I d actually got through to her The automated telephone line wasn t overly helpful and chat function immediately cut off on the app which was of no use so phoning really is the only option

Website can be good - the online chat tool is the way to go to avoid phoning and waiting forever because it always gets answered pretty quickly Having said that when I phoned them UK to sort an issue out it got answered fairly quickly too My only real gripe is that the website can be really annoying - it frequently fails during the payment process and you have to start all over again Took me 8 attempts today Oh and when I logged in using Chrome today all I got was a blank page Luckily Edge worked so I could clear my balance Eventually
