My shocking experience of this company
I have edited this review as circumstances arise I have now been emailed by the company CEO with a full apology and admission of poor service as well as a confirmation of a high end caliper paint job The apology and admission goes a long way with me and I am nothing if not fair It will be a while before I can have my car off the road for the period it will require to take Richard up on his offer hopefully my experience with their generous compensation will more than make up for their previous misgivings and I can edit this review in it s entirety My shocking experience of this company began on 27th of March when they received my calipers No communication of receipt etc so a few days later I ring to confirm my calipers are in their possession cue 5 solid days calling emailing and leaving voicemails as well as a private facebook message to the company NOTHING I noticed disgruntled customers building up on their Facebook page and got worried so decided to publicly review them on there This prompted them to have the time to report my account but not answer the clients who were getting frustrated by their lack of comms After using another Facebook account to shame them for having the time to report accounts but not reply i finally got a response saying they were understaffed and we re busy in the workshop rather than covering phones fair enough I thought Then another week goes by no response In this time I have called the company over 25 times with no response I have the call records so my vehicle has been off the road over a month waiting for my calipers to be done By the way this was a simple bleed nipple extraction and replacement nothing more I get a blog email from their CEO telling me how it s such a lovely weekend he s going to wash his car and take his family to the beach for Easter as well as a lovely photo of him paddling with his dogs very unprofessional and highly irritating considering I have a family I couldn t take out due to his tardiness Fast forward a week n half later 25th of April And this is where the fun really starts I unwrapped my 8 pot brembo calipers to discover someone from their company had gone all Texas chainsaw on one of my calipers with a grinder on the OUTSIDE To remove a pad pin that DIDNT NEED REMOVING pics WILL be uploaded also costing me another 80 to replace all the pad pins removed for no reason When I called and spoke to Richard his first response was to Blame my packing which was impeccable with bubble wrap and packing air pouches and a box specifically for the job he then resinded as if it it was a preprepared defensive comment he makes to put the blame on the client When it was explained it was undoubtedly machine tooled with groovemarks and I had pics of the damage I would gladly send He then said it was because they had to remove a pad piston nowhere near the area I mean and offered a high end paint job in recompense He then said he would comment further on review of the photos which so far I ve heard nothing I now have an unsightly caliper with chunks gauged out of it visible through my wheels on a high end classic car I will be taking this through the motor ombudsman as this standard of service from beginning to the point I m at so far has been an ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE In balance and according to my mechanic the actual Beed nipple extraction replacement was a good job and reasonably priced But the damage caused and missing parts has ended up costing me far more to put right I don t want any more dealings with this company although ombudsman procedure is to give them a chance to put right the damage I don t have a few months where I can be carless
