I used this company to remanufacture and paint a set of four big brake calipers for my Mazda MX5 which would upgrade and replace the existing brakes on the car The calipers were taken off a scrapped car and were frankly in a terrible condition with issues including snapped and seized carrier bolts and seized and rusted pistons BCS returned the finished calipers to me and there were some problems with the new helicoil threads that they had inserted into two of the carriers - with hindsight given the dreadful condition of the carriers I would have been better off buying two new carriers However BCS reworked the carrier threads and the calipers and carriers have been fixed onto my MX5 and look great in their blue paint job By refurbishing the calipers and carriers I have saved over 500 compared to the cost of purchasing new Genuine Mazda brake parts

Only gripe was I had to file down where the hydraulic brake line connected to the caliper as there was slight pitting probably from the cleaning process and some over spray apart from that very pleased with service and finish would definitely recommend

Recently had my Merc C63 calipers painted red with white decals Finished product looks amazing and really looks good on the car and a great price Only downside about the whole process was the time to take them off the car get them shipped BCS had them 9 days get them shipped back then a further day to get them back on meant the car was out of action for 2 1 2 weeks If you can plan and live with that timescale you ll be really happy once done Thanks BCS

My calipers look great I just wish the communication was better A simple text is all it would take to let your client know how there calipers are progressing in the system

This would be a five star review but for the time it took to carry out the work on my Porsche brembo calipers They state on their website 10 working days to turn around the work but in reality it was 24 working days which resulted in me not having my car for Easter That said they did find an issue with one of the calipers which resulted in an additional cost to me and a further delay Marc responded in a timely manner via email but at no time did anyone pick the phone up when I called the landline It seems that they are victims of their own success and are struggling to meet demand and maintain customer service levels That said the quality of the refurb and high end paint job on my calipers is excellent and is exactly what I wanted I would recommend BCS Automotive but with the caveat to allow plenty of time for them to carry out their undoubtedly high quality work
