Scrapping the Beko

Just to add to my previous review The washer dryer has packed up twice more since November so we have bitten the bullet and decided to scrap it and buy a Smeg The washer dryer lasted just two years with countless failures during that time and appalling customer service For the benefit of anyone considering buying Beko forget that it has a warranty for that little bit of paper isn t worth a light I shjall of course be alerting Consumer Direct as the abysmal customer service slow response times and the lack of knowledge among the engineers they send out are common experiences among those unlucky enough to have a machine failure

Spin cycle is very poor had not realized it was only1200 but clothes are hardly spun at all very disappointed and it will not be long before I have to upgrade - back to a hoover for me

Rude Customer Service for extended Warranty

I rang to purchase an extended Warranty for my new Tumble Dryer Your representative was trying to give me the hard sell on the warranty I did not want to purchase any cover unless it was a one-off payment but I was told that was not an option and monthly was the best way for my finances He started implying that the machine would not be adequately covered by the first-year manufacturer guarantee and that I should seriously look at signing up now I said I disagreed and the phone went CLICK If this is your CUSTOMER policy then it will be the last product I purchase from Beko

We bought a beko washing machine

We bought a beko washing machine October 2022 that has already stopped working and their helpline have been utterly rude and useless and said this is out of the warranty and is chargeable for repair A 500 machine lasting 14 months is disgusting do not buy any beko products

I only had oven a week when I went to use it for the first time fan in oven didn t work so oven didn t heat up I couldn t cook my Christmas dinner so all my food was wasted awaiting a replacement but not until the 11th January

New fridge freezer broke down and the engineer failed to return to fix the issue After a week of chasing Beko customer service we were told that Beko does not cover ex-display models when a full one year warranty came with the purchase Avoid Beko as they have a horrible and rude customer service

Unable to control oven temperature

We got rid of our old oven because the level of heat stayed high despite turning it up or down Our new oven seems to do the same The heat on the dial is not reflective of the actual oven heat Plus it s difficult to see if all the gas outlets are ignited due to the position under the floor plate

Second Beko heat pump tumble drier with the same fault

Bought a heat pump tumble drier last year it stopped working right Running through the end point Leaving dry to iron clothes bone dry flagging cean filter icon and stopping mid cycle The engineer told me the clean filter icon indicated a fault code The machine went back for a refund and I bought a different model Two loads of washing and the same faults coming up again Cannot get through to Customer Service or Engineering callback doesn t happen I ve had good experience with Beko tumble dryers in the past but please be warned there is a problem with compressors on the heat pump units Don t buy them

Don t buy a Beko

I had my fridge freezer for 4 days the warning light is coming on every 7 hours The fridge is over freezing so ice particles are forming at the back which shouldn t be happening An engineer is coming on Friday 5th January but I don t want a repair done on a brand new appliance
