pretty bad experience with this

pretty bad experience with this platform Wanted to buy some more shares this afternoon as the price was good however when I tried I got the error pending transaction This has never happened before and there was no pending transactions So it essentially stopped me from making a trade I contacted live chat and someone called Christopher wasnt exactly empathetic and basically just said it wasnt there problem Wont be using these guys if this is how you treat a loyal user of your platform I shall transfer my money elsewhere where the service is better and the platform and service are much nicer Avoid

Untrustworthy Company

Signed up to this company as they were offering a sign up bonus on Quidco I followed all the criteria and after 7 months seems love they ve welched on their part of the deal Untrustworthy company will be closing my account

1000 cash reward for tranfer

I We transferred monies to my our account on the understanding that cashback would be paid out after a period of 6 months After having to chase up for weeks the monies have at last been paid but no explanation has been given and the complaint raised has not been resolved

Withdraw not complete when requested a few days ago Website isn t easy to use I followed up via live chat and apparently We needed to clarify if the account was to be closed or not you should have been contacted so I will have to check why that was not the case but hopefully should be fully resolved tomorrow - no one contacted me

Spent more than an hour with three different agents that s not my remit before getting the information I needed to access my account Still cant access it I ve been with Best for many years but since Evelyn Partners came over I have problems in relating to my account

Lump sum from uncrystalised fund not declared correctly to HMRC

I took out a lump sum from my uncrystalised funds i e still retains tax free element and found BestInvest applied tax rate to the whole amount not removing 25 as tax free Getting BestInvest to deal with this is really hard work I wrote an email I made calls and nobody has got back to me with either an explanation or a solution No one on the first line of support seems familiar with processes My previous provider made lumpsum withdrawals a piece of cake by paying me the 25 tax free and declaring to HMRC only the remaining 75 of the lumpsum for taxation BestInvest declared to HMRC the whole lumpsum as taxable This is problematic as to rectify the issue with HMRC may not be possible or at best extremely difficult as HMRC does not have any way of declaring 25 tax free lump sums through the Self Assessment form

The coaching session is supposed to cover Investment strategy Your Coach can run you through some key questions on whether your investment strategy is aligned to your investment goals and how to make sure you re set up for success It doesn t Substantive advice is only available on payment of substantial fees Thanks

Really poor customer service

Really poor customer service Lacking any kind of security during telephony calls Website glitches Not receiving emails or responding to them

Customer service never reply with email as promised

Transfer was relatively painless but waiting to have my SIPP activated for trading US shares is painful Reached out to CS several times told I will receive an email but nobody has replied to me Terrible customer service not one person has taken ownership of my issues

Not impressed since the involvement

Not impressed since the involvementOf Evelyn Started investing in 80s and they were top of their game and very good but now sloppy They requested zoom annual review and then never showed up so I was waiting there for half an hour They suggested changing my money and made nothing in last 18 months and paid best part of 10k a year for the pleasure of managing it They send incomprehensible emails and often don t get back Not happy
