Bitstamp SEPA Reversal - Funds Retrieved

Shocking company with no support

Shocking company with no support whatsoever We invested 2 years ago with our life savings to help our children grandchildren Not only have we been thrown off their platform still no reason of why they are now sitting on our money with no intentions of paying us back In our late 70 s with no other means of income this has totally destroyed us financially The complaint has been running for 3 months now with no resolution in sight We have submitted letters from our bank on which the funds were released from along with several other documents that they requested from us They don t even acknowledge my emails any more Bitstamp support UK you are an absolute disgrace

Can t get my crypto out They continue to decline my requests to whitelist a crypto address while I even complied with their demand of a picture of a passport and the crypto address visible They use every excuse they have to prevent you from withdrawing your OWN funds AVOID They even let whitelist requests vanish Edit after this review and a formal complaint suddenly my whitelist requests were approved and a reaction on my complaint followed according to our logs your whitelist requests have been approved Sure You still completely lost my trust

BIT-1879174 Re Updated VideoCallI registered on this platform a few days ago sent all the documents and was good I decided to try the platform and deposit some funds into the platform to see if everything worked fine I was able to deposit but it didn t allow me to withdraw coins I wasn t bothered about that initially but then they asked me to call a number to get the suspension lifted I called several times until I was able to speak to someone who then told me I needed a video verification with my ID I was sent an email with the ling set up the video call and the guy called me on Friday 15th March he proceeded to ask me some questions that I felt uncomfortable with asking me for my 2FA and I needed to log in I simply told him no that I had my app on my phone and if I needed any help I could ask my son I showed my id and he said they would send to security and within 2 days it would be resolved On Saturday I made some profit from BTC and wanted to close my trade I saw that it stated that Trading is currently disabled I called and no one answered and I left a message and also sent an email I haven t heard anything from them knowing the volatility of the market I might lose the little profit I made They won t respond to emails or phone calls This is the worst exchange in the world I am so angry seeing the market go up and down

Ridiculous Service and Treatment

Unbelievable Service and Treatment I have been a client of Bitstamp for 3 years Out of the blue they decided to freeze my accounts with a substantial amount of money for months Then decided without prior notice to terminate the accounts After multiple requests to release the funds to another crypto wallet they decided to make a ridiculous exchange rate and send to a bank that is no longer in use which delayed the receipt of funds even more Until this day I haven t received my funds

Got my money and won t let go I used Bitstamp net to but BTC so set up an account and was verified Deposited funds - bought BTC - then go to move it out and have been blocked More verification including video call with Mr Rude Days later still blocked still ongoing Verification This has taken weeks -TRAPPED

So we had a chat over phone The support was extremely rude and not only not apologised for the issue but also threatened to interrupt call She wasn t able to answer when funds will be returned to account with NO our fault I do have transfer receipt with MEMo and correct info One just can t hear no estimate when case will be reviewed or any other reply except of pointing out how one has to talk to hear She also mentioned that I was yelling which is wrong after sleepless night trying find out with Binance what happened I may have spoken on emotion but not yelling at her I would like personal apologies from this lady I think this lady may be insane because knowing that phone call is recorded the mention of scam and FBI because FBI handles crypto scam cases she just reacted like insane with laughter and disrespect She also wasn t able to provide answers to basic questions as how long it takes to resolve similar cases so when I asked when can we expect results she said she won t answer that question Also she said that she won t keep this convo going by answering similar questions when I reminded her is her job to explain me things till I understand she treated to hang up Being honest I have never had worse customer support experience ever Im not afraid to loose my funds since there is CSSf then European Small Claims Court lawyers etc Just I wonder how could this happen in a company with rating of AA Not only havent she apologized but rude instead They do have polite support but this LADY is something I never faced
